This will always be my favorite hotel in Guiyang. The service and friendliness is second to none.

Good location; clean and big room; friendly staff The central heat makes the room very hot. After 2 days we finally complained and received a cooling fan to counter the heat effect which worked well.

Beautiful and big rooms. V spacious and well designed bathroom . The bathtub has a TV on the wall. Comfortable big beds. nothing.

Incredibly convenient location, in the centre of Guiyang. Swimming pool was a nice escape from the heat of Summer. The breakfast was good, plenty of options for foreigners if you didn't fancy a Chinese style breakfast. Check in was easy (although if u dont speak Chinese u gotta hope they have someone who can speak English for u). Room was a good size and was clean( towels, robes etc provided). Bathroom was big and had plenty of toiletry options. The reception area had a few shops if you need anything. Behind the hotel is a wonderful snack food street with so many amazing local and Chinese dishes, would highly recommend that! If I had to make a suggestion, maybe the rooms are beginning to be a bit dated but not a big issue really.

The location is good cuz we need to travel to the airport the other day The room is quite old and facilities seem to be old as well. Feel like it’s a bit overpriced compared to what I would expect for this type of room. The staff is ok but there’s always room for improvement…

We loved that this hotel is connected to the mall so there are dining and entertainment options for us. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast because we had to leave early for the airport. We were able to request a packed breakfast that we could take with us. There were also English channels available on the TV. Since the toiletries were in refillable bottles, it was very thoughtful to have a small bottle of lotion available for guests. The Nespresso machine in our room didn't work.

Lucian on the front desk was absolutely wonderful, he welcomed us with a big smile, explained the layout of the hotel and was available throughout our stay for anything we needed. The hotel is connected to a shopping centre with plenty of local restaurants and some western options such as Pizza Hut. We tried the miss shiwawa on the 3/4th floor which was really nice. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel said there were two restaurants, however the western restaurant was closed in the evening. The Chinese restaurant staff laughed nervously when we arrived and brought us to the front desk in a panic. Not quite the welcome you expect in a restaurant. The front desk explained that the Chinese restaurant was not run by the hotel. The spa looked beautiful, however there was no price list available, one of the staff members tried her best to explain the offers as her colleagues laughed. I have no issue with a language barrier but I don’t expect staff to laugh at customers. It made me feel extremely unwelcome and I decided not to spend my money in the hotel spa. I understand that some staff might feel nervous around foreign customers but the hotel should provide them with training. With the number of apps available in Chinese there is no issue communicating with people - we had great success in the mall and were welcomed with a smile.

The room The location Very rude receptionist and manager who did not address it. No welcome or thank you! Three weeks of travelling in this group’s hotels and this has to be the worst experience of customer service. Even for China, this service is shocking.
