Hotel Gumusluk

A really good hotel. Clean, comfortable, the room was spacious enough. Furniture and facilities in excellent condition. Staff friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very good - to reach the beach, the restaurants and the minibus stop you have to walk just a few minutes. It is easy to make day trips by minibus to Bodrum, Yalıkavak, etc.

Room was not cleaned properly, I saw lot of hair in the bathroom also the shower cabin was not working properly. Hot water was not good.

Staff welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t do enough for you. I loved my room, clean and a choice to have excellent lighting. I loved the breakfast. I liked the quality of what there was. Proper Feta and a choice of decent olives. Good quality. I loved there were lots of very good sunshades. Very pretty courtyard and the flora smelt amazing at night Pool was a bit chilly but only 100m to beach and the sea is warm.

Exceptional

The hotel rooms have been refurbished since we last stayed 5 years ago. We had a clean, bright and well-equipped room with a sweet little balcony and the hotel kindly allocated our room upstairs as requested. The fridge was extremely useful for storing our own wine because very little alcohol was consumed openly, even around the bar and we felt uncomfortable to be the only people having alcohol. The breakfasts were delicious, with lots of fruit, cheese and salad leaves. Typically Turkish and very relaxed. The hotel is close to the beach and convenient for restaurants. The swimming pool is perfect and the garden has lots of shade. The area around the pool is well-maintained with beautiful jasmine and Bougainvillia plus lots of other plants. The hotel booked us into a new restaurant called Sia Eli right at the other end of the harbour - incredible food, service, cocktails, location. Some English is spoken - a bit better than out Turkish. We were able to properly relax at this hotel. The breakfast times seemed to vary a little and usually started at 09.00 which we found was a bit later than we would like ideally. There was a lunch menu but we mainly preferred to eat put. Quite a few of the sunloungers were broken but we managed to find some that were ok. It was very noisy at night with clubs on the harbour playing music - we had earplugs with us so we were able to sleep ok.

Breakfast was amazing! Fresh veggies and frui, all organic. Amazing.

Location was superb, only a short walk onto the beach and along into the main part of the village where all bars and restaurants are situated. Room was spotlessly clean, well fitted out. Comfortable beds and nice and spacious for the 2 of us. We stayed the first week of May, the season had not really started so very quiet around pool and spent much of time on beach. Had a lovely breakfast on the one occasion when we did make it up in time :)

The hotel is located very near to the beach. I enjoyed the pool and the beautiful property. The breakfast is delicious and the outdoor lounging areas are inviting. My room was very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The bed was a dream much like Gumusluk :)) Nothing

Quiet hotel close to the beach. very relaxed atmosphere. Manager very helpful. Breakfast staff were quite uncommunicative to the degree of not even answering to a 'Good morning' greeting. The filter coffee was hot at the start of breakfast, but was not kept hot or topped up.

Staff were amazing and property was stunning. The fragrance of jasmines wafting throughout the property was sublime. The proximity of the hotel to the beach was also perfect- easy walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. And having the option of swimming in the pool on the property was handy. In the evenings the resort was quiet but music and conversations from the surrounding restaurants and bars made you feel like you were in the action, even if you didn’t choose to leave. Nothing. The mgmt was very helpful with all our requests. And made the arrival, stay and departures seamless. Thank you Nuria!
