Very comfy and clean. Many beds in one room but each has its own light and fan. Very good location and they rent bicycles very cheap for the whole day.
-
Good location unfortunately charged us more than it was said on booking.com, charged us way too much for laundry. We waited for 40 minutes for someone to arrive at receiption and the lights were completely out.

It was a cheap stay with a cool view out the back. We also had a balcony..! It was cold and the blanket provided just wasn't upto the job. We had to use another from the empty room next door.. ?

For travelers arriving by sleeper bus, I strongly recommend avoiding this accommodation! The walls are dirty, and the bed sheets and towels have yellow and red stains. However, given the price, one cannot expect much more. The real problem, however, was the lack of professionalism from the owner. She doesn't speak English and was unreachable when we arrived after our 10-hour bus journey, despite having previously agreed that we could check in early. We spent 3 hours in the middle of the night on the sidewalk before finally reaching someone and being let in at 6 am. At exactly 12 o'clock, the owner came and demanded the full amount for the additional 6 hours, even though we had already asked beforehand and no one had informed us that we had to pay the full amount. We refused to pay, and she threatened to kick us out. It's important to mention that my friend opened the door while I was in the shower. He was only wearing boxers, and I was naked. Nevertheless, she insisted that we pay immediately. So I had to come out of the shower half-naked and explain to her that we had agreed to check in earlier. Ultimately, she argued with a translator for several minutes and only left after we paid. Such an experience definitely leaves a bitter taste, and I strongly advise against booking this accommodation. Additionally, the owner turned off the hot water for two days, forcing us to shower in cold water.

Very well positioned to have a look around bus dropped off at door on arrival And pick-up when left

Very nice hostel in a very nice location. The room I had was comfortable and and everything we needed. The reception is barely attended and no phone number did catch our attention in order to reach out for someone. This can be an issue if you want to ask or let the staff know about something.

Not much. Staff was nonexistent and little girl gave us the key. No one at the reception. Messaged the property to see if anyone could give us information. In a flash someone showed up to collect money. We explained we’d be back in a few days after a tour and they disappeared never to be seen again. When we checked out there was NO ONE THERE. NO RECEPTION. Not even the little. Strange. There’s lots of places in Ha Giang. Stay somewhere else. For a nice Hi Giant loop tour. Cozy Hostel. Cheers Tour Group. Fun.

The balcony view I don’t think they cleaned our room, the sheets were stained and had hair. We had to wear our clothes in the bed because we were scared we would get infected. The walls are full of weird stains. No toilet paper, only one towel available when we booked for two. Wifi stopped working at times. Someone came into our room without knocking at 9:30 am ( check out was at 12:00pm ) We wanted to tell them about all this but nobody is at the reception when you check in and check out you have to call them.

The only thing, toilet seems to be clean Unfortunately that is the worst experience ever in Vietnam!!! I arrived in the late afternoon, and had to teach online one hour later. The room 302 was smelling mold, I didn’t have time to search for another place at this moment, so I thought I will open the doo, and it could be fine for one night. Then I had to run fast to buy some water for myself and found out that the lock of the door is broken. I went ti the owner, she wasn’t surprised, “yes, this room has a problem but it’s safe don’t worry “ of course it’s safe and if something missing who will pay? So I had to take with me my belongs, as well as i couldn’t leave my phone to charge. When I came back smell was so strong, so I had to work two hours with open door, to get some air. After this two ours I already felt this mold in my nose and lungs. The bed linens were dirty as well. Of course no one was by the reception, so I had nothing to do, I left this place!!!! Worst experience ever, and the worst thing, that the owner knew about this problems!!! Avoid this place!!!

Place was clean, reasonably confortable, bathroom was ok, Owner helped us with most of the things we asked her for, they rented us a bike to do the loop and gave us some indications, language was a barrier in the begining but after geting used to the phone translator everything worked out well We arrived late at night with no sim card and the hotel was closed. Luckily we got to comunicate with the lady. If you are arriving late at night make sure you send her a message via whatsapp or something so you can confirm shell be there to open the door, we did it on booking but didnt work.
-
Rooms were ok Staff was horrible, check in took us 20 min, the lady didnt use booking system at all and wanted to charge us double price unless we were showing her price on our booking. Then I had to fight for towels and toilet paper. At the end at 11pm the door was closed and I couldnt enter the hotel, I called the number on the door and they didnt speak english, finally the door was broken and they managed to open after half an hour. One night and a lot of stress. Nobody spoke even one world in english, normally I tolerate it but they weren't even eager to help us.

The moment I left the place and drove off! Upon arrival after driving half of Ha Giang Loop that day and it was raining arrived at hotel tired and wet to be greeted by some woman from the unit next door trying to tell me call a number. I tried to explain don't speak Vietnamese I can't call. Then another older man turned up and gestured to come in then another lady turned up who I guess was the owner, no one spoke English, was unorganised, I got shown to a room and paid for it. Found the room to be not clean, the bins were full of other guests rubbish, the pillows were not clean looked like been slept on many times, they had blankets not duvets with fresh bedding so I find it impossible to believe they wash the blankets everyday. It seemed to me that they just make the bed up after each guests leaves and nothing is changed for days or even all week. I ended up covering the pillow with a shirt and sleeping in my clothes on top of the blanket not under it. The wifi was extremely poor I could not browse aWeb site never mind use it to stream. There was a rooster calling out all night long it did not stop I got no sleep it was extremely annoying! This is the worst place I have stayed in. Please avoid you'll regret it!!!!! To be honest I stayed in 3 different accomodations in Ha Giang and none of them are any good seems to be the norm there. Never visiting the town again! Very poor standards and bike hire is 2 or 3 times more than anywhere else in the country.

it’s a good place to stay, nice beds big and comfy and the owner she is sweet and kind, also because she is awake till you arrive even if you arrive 4am as we did, the motorbikes are new and they are cheap. the problem is she doesn’t speak any English, she use the translate very well and you can communicate with her but the problem start’s when you come back with the motorbike and she isn’t there. We arrive 14:45 pm and our bus leaved at 16:00, it was a mess the shop next to it they tried as hard as they could to helped us but they didn’t speak English, they tried charge things we didn’t book and they didn’t know where our laundry was…. we arrived just on time to the bus station 16:00 and hopefully we didn’t miss our bus, in the end if you are running a place to rent bikes and you host people you must be there at least to check out your guest.

The owner was rude and made it obvious that he doesn’t like westerners.
