Amazing property! Grounds are spectacular. Charming room with comfortable 4 post bed. Bathroom was tired. Plastic insert shower out of place for property and room price. When we arrived for check in staff was stressed for a 40 person party about to arrive. We could not get reservations for dinner that night. Staff spoke negatively about each other in front of us. Breakfast underwhelming and staff inattentive whenever we came to main house common area. We took our Do Not Disturb card off our door at 10 AM, returned at 4 PM, room was not made up.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with tastefully and individually designed rooms that take you back 150 years in time (luckily with modern amenities). Impeccable premises - including a stunning tennis court, pool, and rose garden - and lovely restaurant with an unrivaled wine selection (shoutout to sommelier Greg for his great recommendation!). Will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect! The king bed was a nice surprise in the Buford room. Didn't realize we could turn off the blue LED temp on the heater until the next morning but this is on us not on staff or the accommodations.

The meal was special, especially excellent wines paired with the dishes, the food is delicious but not exceptional as we expected from the reviews. The staff is very helpful and pleasant, we were happy to visit the very impressive wine cellar of the place. Take an extra charge for a cappuccino at breakfast in a place like this? It really doesn't fit. And make us sit in front of a kitchen door and dirty stairs in the morning, too bad. Ruined the atmosphere.

The 6-course meal was beyond imagination. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was our wedding anniversary, and I was touched with all the extra special touches to acknowledge that! Although we loved our room, there was a lot of steps & confusion locating it. The bed was so high that we were glad for the provided stool to get in it! At our age & walking abilities, I should have chosen a different room.
