Everything else is fabulous but most importantly, the Chinese hospitality and excellent customer service thats truly unmatched. Something you can never experience in the US. 1 week stay was not enough.

Nice hotel, relaxed, good breakfast, staff tried its best English skills of staff could be improved. However, they tried definitely their best to make me comfortable and assist whenever necessary

Don't go here for the beach, and best to go during hot weather (we went in February and the outdoor pool, though open, was freezing). The beach would be fine if they put out some beach chairs. Rooms were nice and they gave us a free extra bed. The staff was very friendly, floor supervisor Zhang Hong was very helpful in sending us an item we left in the room after we left. The hot springs hot tubs were very nice. If they only heated the outdoor pool like the Shangri-la in Sanya! The breakfast was pretty nice, but not quite on the level of other five-star hotels we've stayed at in Hainan (like the Shangri-la in Sanya). The location felt like it was in a ghost town, a very quite and empty part of town, but I don't know if that was just because of the time we were there.
