A standard hotel with standard qualities, no surprises. As always with the standard double rooms in Comfort hotels, this one was also a bit smallish and had no space for storing clothes.

Ironically, the pillows were so uncomfortable that it was hard to sleep.

Check-in process was a breeze and had no communication issues. We had our luggage delivered from Sapporo 1.5 days prior and arrived on time. The rooms were small especially if you have 4 luggage to open, but we were able to store them underneath the bed. My family and I thought the buffet breakfast was delicious! They had a lot of variety to choose from and some of the food items change every day. The staff members worked hard to make sure to replenish anything that was running low and kept the stations clean. We really appreciated the early start to breakfast at 0530 because even on vacation, we still eat early. There are laundry rooms, ice machines, and vending machines on the 2nd and (i think) 6th floor. We ran out of coins at one point so we just asked front desk to exchange. Great location as it is in front of a bus, train, and tram station! Many convenience stores around for late night snacks and maybe 2 blocks away from the market. One elevator can be a wait especially during rush hours in the morning for breakfast. We're not super sensitive to this, but obviously can be noisy for some due to its proximity to the tram.

The building only has one elevator, so you might need to wait a bit during peak hours. As for the room, the double room is quite cramped. Once we opened two suitcases, there was barely any floor space to walk or open the doors. Also, the bed felt a bit too small for two adults.

Breakfast was great I wish we could’ve booked a larger room to accommodate my whole family. For some reason the twin room showed that it would only fit two adults and no kids.

There was only one elevator, but I was on the fifth floor so luckily I was able to use the outside stairs to check out on time

Great location 2 blocks from JR station and next to a trolley shop. Excellent breakfast included. Modern facilities in room and building. Easy walk to market and dock areas. A single, small elevator and no stairs can be a hassle during busy times at checkin and breakfast/checkout.
