There is a parking lot on the top floor it seems, great if you have a car! Bad if your room window is at the same height as the ramp (mine was) meaning opening it is like inviting anything/anyone to enter.

Just right across the morning market and near the station. No air conditioning. The bath tap runs too slow to fill up the bathtub. Very hard to adjust the water temperature as well.

The room is clean though the hotel outside view look old. closed to train station and tourist attractions are in walking distance. The famous restaurant is attached to the hotel lobby but the noise has not come in my room. Washing machine is on the top level very convenient. no. The hotel facilities and services are better than my expectation.

1) Excellent location - very near Hakodate JR Station, opposite Hakodate Morning Market, lots of food options nearby 2) Very friendly staff 3) There's also a lift in the property 4) Cleaning staff will replenish the essentials (via a plastic bag hanging OUTSIDE your doorknob) even if you put the "do not disturb" tag. Overall, had an excellent stay here :) Thank you to all the Hotel New Ote staff! The heating is centralised which might be a little to warm, but just open the window will do!

Great location, 2 min walk from the train station. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Room was clean and facilities were great. Loved having a private bath and a vending machine right outside my door. Room is small but it does say this in the booking so no worries. It's a great place to stay if you only intend to sleep and freshen up after a full day of activities.

Location is super convenient for sightseeing. Close to train station and bay area. The twin beds were quite narrow and the comforter was not very comfortable. It was decent, not luxurious.

The Hotel is located not far from Hakodate station, there is a local supermarket next to the hotel, and the room size is a normal business hotel standard, and clean with all the necessary items.

Best location with a stone's throw away from Morning market and famous Lucky Pierrot. Sizable restroom for 3 people. Nothing

Location was perfect for our stay, next to the train station and the morning market. It is situated also next to the Lucky Pierrot with it's own entrance. Room was clean and worked well for us. The building seemed a bit old and could use some renovation, there was also only a small elevator.
