the bed was comfortable. the area was really bad, no private toilet, you can’t close the window while loud noises (birds, people outside), always have to wait before going out for the staff to keep the key and the walls are paper thin you could absolutely everything.

The room was a normal size and was clean. The location is also very good, as it is very close to the central station. The only issue was that the woman at the reception was a little rude, and we could barely understand the answers to the questions we asked. Also, there was no information about the city tax mentioned anywhere, so please note that there is an additional charge of €6.

The only good point I can say for this, so caled, hotel is that the bed and sheets were definitelly clean. The feeling and maintenance of the building and the rooms was not what expected for 2026 in the center of one of the biggest German cities. The furniture and equipment were noticeably old, worn, and in need of replacement. On arriving they requested 6,5 Euros tax for culture and sightseeing which I had to pay arriving late in the hotel with a child. I am not sure somebody can explain what culture is related to this tax and is the hotel the right place to collect it.
