Room was tiny, no fridge or minibar, no coffee/tea possibility in the room. The room was shaking with every open and close of doors in other rooms which becomes really annoying in the evening or early morning when you are still sleeping but people start going for breakfast. No ventilator in the bathroom, steam, moisture from the shower, everything goes in the room. Bed was too soft for my liking.

The location is perfect, as you are located closely to many interesting areas of Hamburg; St. Pauli, Schanze, Hafencity and Mitte - this made it very convenient in regards to getting around and have access to to a wide range of restaurants, shops and attractions. The rooms are nicely decorated, the size is good for a city-stay and we did not experience any sound from either the streets or the hallways of the hotel. Besides that we found the beds and pillows very comfortable and usually I bring my own pillow when traveling, so I was very positive, that these where of such good standard. The breakfast was basic, but good and had many opportunities also for vegetarians, which was highly appreciated for us. There is everything you need to get a good breakfast; yoghurt with various toppings, many sorts of breads, boiled eggs and of course; juice and coffee. It is not a luxury breakfast, but there is more than you will need for a decent breakfast. The bike rent was really great and made it possible for us to see so much of the city, as we could get around the city faster than with S-bahn and taxi. When the weather is nice and not having to get further than 8 km from the hotel, then biking is a great way to experience the city. The staff was extraordinary! We were unfortunate that one of us got sick during the stay and the staff was helpful during this time, which made the experience extremely pleasant. This is our second stay at Motel One Hamburg am Mitte, and we do not want to stay other places in Hamburg, as we find location, service, quality and price perfect for our needs. I do not have anything to complain about, but if I should mention something that could be improved, then it would be, that it would have been convenient that the bikes was possible to acces from then ground floor and not from the parking lot - but as this is a minor thing, I do not have anything to mention.

Clean and comfortable bed. Bar area and the breakfast are very good. The room was a little bit small and very limited area for the clothes. No closed closets.

Modern and clean and everything we needed. Bit confused on how to find our room in the beginning. Had to go out and go to another building. Maybe better signage from the reception to the room. Other than that, no problem.

The door to the bathroom won't close.

So there is no way for someone arriving by the car to stop in fornt of the hotel to drop off luggage and to inquire where the hotel parking is.

Best Location close to the train station, entertainment zones and restaurants. Breakfast was 10/10. Staff was helpful amd friendly. Only option was Queen Beds

- There is no drinking water in the room, except the one from the tap. - There are no paper bathroom slippers. When asked the staff they said such a things are against the environment. Then I have started to wonder why do we have paper in the toilets and a paper cup for a small garbage. - We were obliged to buy a decaf coffee from the bar (4.50 EUR), because there is no such one at the breakfast which was included during our stay.

No basic amenities in room, no kettle, no fridge, no toiletries. For the price an absolute rip off. The rooms are tiny and the cleaning is by no means thorough.
