It’s accessible in the center of old quarter. Mai is very accomodating.

No big complaints. Water pressure on shower could be stronger though.

Only the location Honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. When I first arrived, the owner/manager immediately asked me if I could exchange money for her , Thai Baht to UAE Dirhams. I tried to be kind and helped her out. As a “thank you,” she claimed she would upgrade my room because apparently I had booked a room without a window. Later I checked and realized I HAD actually booked a room with a window already. So the whole “upgrade” story was just misleading from the beginning. It got worse. She then took my phone, opened the Booking.com app herself, and modified my reservation from 3 nights down to only 1 night because she said she would “get more commission” that way. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. After that, every interaction felt like she was trying to benefit from me somehow. She kept insisting I shouldn’t use the massage place downstairs and should go to another one across the street instead , clearly because she probably gets commission from sending customers there. I ignored her recommendation and went downstairs anyway… and the massage there was actually excellent. Another time she literally asked to use my phone so she could write herself a positive review. That crossed the line completely. The hotel itself was also terrible. The elevators constantly smelled bad, and one day I walked into my room and the smell coming from the bathroom/toilet was so disgusting I could barely breathe. I genuinely almost vomited. Overall, this place felt manipulative, uncomfortable, and unhygienic. I would absolutely not stay here again. :::

Great Staff, Great Location, Great price, Good Breakfast Buffet… It is a nice facility but in need of renovation! The pictures in booking.com have been greatly photoshopped or are old pictures! The in room safes are NOT attached to a solid structure in the rooms and are only working with an access key (electronic functions are disabled)…

Central location . Efficient staff . Good breakfast . Nice very large bed . It’s an old hotel . Nothing bad about old but some things could be improved . The towels are thinned out . The pillows were too firm that it wasn’t comfortable . The air conditioner took a while to kick in. The tv was fuzzy because it was an older version . My room didn’t have a window . The sink drain needed a scrub .

The people that work there did a phenomenal job for me and the guests. They went out of their way to take care of things quickly and gave me many ideas. They even hooked me up with a hotel worker to take me on a scooter ride around the city since I am way too scared to drive those Hanoi streets. A shout out to Huang ein who took me on the ride. Miss May was very helpful The reason the hotel does not get the highest of marks is due to a few things in my room. The TV remote did not work, although they responded very quickly to try to make it work. There was no window, so it was pretty stuffy in the room. The safe box was inoperable. The towels and wash cloths definitely need to be renewed. The drain did back up, but again they were right on it

The location of the hotel and the staffs willingness to help, but overall it is not recommended. We booked the room and stayed for work, but the wifi had not worked since day one and had bought the attention to the staffs and managers almost everyday durning the stay. The room is not as cleaned, and there is no security safe and is very not safe to leave valuable things such travel documents, passport, and even money. The hotel preferred not to accept credit card even though I was willing to pay for the additional of 3% fees. Hotel preferred everyone to pay cash, but the amount of cash to pay for the entire stay, is a quite amount to carry. Booking.com did mention that the hotel is accepting credit card, but the hotel was not willing to accept.

Location and staff was great The photos displayed did not accurately reflect the current condition of the hotel. The rates were higher than those of nearby hotels.

Great Position and the kindness of the stuff! You can rely on them for suggestions and trip planning. Good breakfast. Double room with separate beds was without window and air was a bit stuck. Be sure to chose the king bed one if you want window in the room.

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

friendly staff, good location, close to everything but also quiet inside the room

The bright star of this hotel is Miss Mai, she really went above and beyond to help us with everything. Without her, our stay would be not that good. Miss Mai is not responsible for the quality of rooms, which definitely needs some repair. Not running hot water one day, etc…. The owner of the hotel should invest a little bit money and make it great again :)
