Wyndham Garden Hanoi

The reception staff told us that there is active construction work going on in the property and we might hear some tremors, but he informed us this only after we paid full during check in. We asked for refund there and then but he assured that the tremors and noise will not be heard in our room as the room is on lower floor, we trusted him and next morning at 6 am we started hearing massive drilling noise and vibrations. Couldn’t rest , couldn’t enjoy the stay. Days started with irritation and noise. If you are planning to stay here, please reconsider atleast until they finish their construction work.

Quiet , relaxing Front desk staffs service very unprofessional, I had two luggages to bring in from a taxi all of them stared at me while I was struggling up to a few steps to reception ? , i bring my luggages to the room myself I ask for the bank or ATM near by she didn’t know

The pool heater not working

It’s was gorgeous and comfortable. It seemed to be in a fun area. The room was spacious and the bed cozy. The staff were very helpful and a real high light of the trip. The breakfast was more Vietnamese and Korean instead of international. I had to request bacon and I only got 1 plate of it to 8 people. We went back and asked for more but it was undercooked. Finally a staff member came and asked us what the problem was and she cooked the bacon all the way through. I also thought the pool was 4 season. But it was cold. Even indoor. After 20 minutes it was unbearable.

Spacious rooms and well maintained hotel. Located in convenient area with easy entry and exit. Value for money. Nothing in particular

Everything worked. Good WiFi. Golf Channel, a soccer channel and some films, news channels in the room TV. Very good breakfasts. .Lovely dinners. Helpful staff. Prompt laundry service. A very pleasant week. The .location was 9km from the centre with not many attractive spots nearby. The Grab cars were very prompt and inexpensive, so getting around was easy enough. One minor whinge: so many hotels worldwide provide tiny cups for tea or coffee. A .large MUG, please

Facilities are great such as the swimming pool was very quiet. The jacuzzi water was cold though. The best part was the friendly staff and especially the service provided by Bach front of house who went above and beyond to help me organise trips and transport. He deserves employee of the month. The hotel is also close to silk street area - well worth a visit. Unfortunately it is far out of town so taxis required everywhere. That is the only downside.

The staffs at lounge were very good and helpful. During my check out on Sunday (March 16), the receptionist (a guy in jacket) around 9.30am wanted to secretly take a photo of my credit card and when I noticed and told him off then he said 'sorry ' why should he in any means take a photo of my credit card??? Unacceptable!!! I was very upset but since am running late for flight I didn't pursue it with their senior management. I hope the management will look into this matter and get the staff checked why he did that. He could have simply done this to other guests and use it for online purchases.. I myself am a victim of cc fraudulent incidents before. Hope new guests will not fall to this photo taking of cc by staffs at the hotel.

My stay at hotel was good. Nice view of city from my room, room was clean. Breakfast was good enough. The location is not good to move around during busy time in the morning and in the evening. I stuck in traffice jam on the way to reach hotel around 7 pm, and when I moved in the morning before 8am.

The location was a bit off, not at the heart of the tourist hotspot. But everything else was nice. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Staff was courteous. Rooms were large and clean. The traffic was a bit noisy as the rooms overlooked the main road.

The hotel is clean and rooms are spacious with powerful shower. Hotel has decent facilities such as gym, pool and spa too. Hotel provides free bottled water daily to the room. While it was during the Tet holiday, the spa had only 2 staff which made the free massage ticket given upon check in relatively useless. Gym equipment while adequate, were of an unknown brand which was not intuitive for me.
