This was a fine hotel. Nothing spectacular, but perfectly adequate. I highly recommend you request rooms on floors 5 or 6, because those floors are above the neighboring buildings, so the sun is not blocked, the light shines through and it’s more cheerful. The floors under 5, tend to be dark. Breakfast is perfectly adequate, not amazing, but fine. The hotel in on Yen Thai, which is a busy alleyway, connecting Hang Manh St., and Hang Dieu. But there’s no street sign on Hang Dieu. So I recommend turning off Hang Bong, on to Hang Manh. Go about 100-125m, and the sign for Yen Thai is on the left. Enter the alley for 20m, and the hotel is on the left. If you want a good haircut, go to 77 Hang Non Street, off of Hang Dieu, 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. Mr. Nguyen Manh, 37 years cutting hair, and where everyone else is charging 200-250K, Mr. Manh charges 150K. Kevin in hotel reception was very helpful. Overall, I believe you would be satisfied with this property. There was nothing wrong with this hotel, but there’s was nothing exceptional about it. It’s a safe choice.

Great location in a bustling alley in the old city with Hanoi on full display. Breakfast with Mai & team was 5 star service! And all the staff were the friendliest and most professional. Shower had great WP. The room was a tad tight, could've an issue for those with mobility concerns.

It’s a bit old and first impression could be underwhelming but the rooms are great (really big and super comfy beds) and clean and the service is wonderful. Great value for money

We liked absolutely everything from Eliana Ruby Hotel & Travel. It is perfectly located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. All staff members were very kind, specially Mai who served us breakfast every morning with a big smile and explaining with great detail what were all our options. Also, Jessica, the travel agent who organized our wonderful tours to Sapa, Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. She is very knowledgable and we could not be happier with the trips she planned for us. We will definitely come back to Eliana Ruby Hotel. Nothing. We liked everything.

Our balcony room, overlooking a side alley off the main street, was excellent and quiet. Very comfortable room with great lighting. Professional staff and a superb breakfast. We'll be going back there again next week Top notch in an active area.

The location was perfect — close to the Old Quarter, restaurants, coffee shops, and many of Hanoi’s major attractions. Breakfast each morning was delicious with a wide variety of Vietnamese and international options. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The team truly made me feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Staff was excellent, room was clean and nice, location very good. They turned off air conditining in the rooms during the day so when you got back it was really hot - 38 degrees C outside. Also the lobby was mssing AC along with hallways. TO keep the heat down, alot of lights were off.

Wonderful hotel! I was a solo traveler and had a great experience. The staff (especially Jessica) was friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for where to eat and go. The breakfast buffet was amazing and includes the option for made to order crepes, omelets, and more! The location was perfect, in walking distance of all major attractions. It’s off the main road so it’s peaceful and safe inside. There is also a person at the front desk 24/7. Nothing. It was my favorite stay while in Vietnam.

Breakfast was delicious, a lot of choices at the buffet as well a la carte and vegetarian/vegan friendly. The staff was super helpful and kind. The location is the best, so close to major attractions, all within walking distance! Nothing

I know it is old town and everything is expected to be a bit old but the rooms, especially the one in the fifth floor, could benefit from renovation.
