Hanoi City Backpackers Hostel

It’s nearby all attraction to do in Hanoi, good location for everything shops, restaurants and etc. No so far

I liked the location. It’s close to everything you need. I didn’t like that the staff don’t inform their guests to be considerate of other guests who are tying to sleep or who are sleeping. My roommates for 3 days were 2 Indians! They were very noisy! They were talking on their phone at non-stop even at 2:00 AM! They were also messy! They threw their trash and tissues on the floor! Ridiculous! So my 3 days of stay was zombie mode! My suggestions are, print out your rules and post them in the rooms. So guests are reminded to be respectful of others.

The staff on-site is very friendly and ensures only people staying at the hostel are going up the stairs. The rooms are rather basic, but for the price/ngiht it’s hard to complain. Free breakfast is also offered. There are sizable lockable storage spaces under the beds, power outlets at each bed space, and privacy curtains. The location of the hostel is really great. It’s so close to everything in the old quarter. The street is relatively quiet, has a circle k a few doors down, and a good atm across the street. It is not the most social hostel, so I’d recommend this place if you just need a place to sleep after doing activities all day. You can’t control the ac in the room, so if you are a hot sleeping you might find it uncomfortable.

Love the beds here! They're comfy and the biggest beds I've ever seen in a hostel. The room was also more spacious (more floor space) relative to other hostels I've been in. A/C works well. Breakfast was made to order. Location is super central and convenient to get to a lot of places to eat, walk around/sightsee, bars, etc. Staff was also super friendly. I had to ask them to help me out a few times, and they were more than happy to help each time! Overall, I think it's a great value for the price!

Best place to stay

The room I stayed in was nice. It's bright, clean, comfy, and big. The private bathroom is clean and very good as well. The staff was really helpful and always there whenever I needed assistance. The breakfast was okay, and they helped clean my room and changed my sheets. The location is good as well, perfect for people who love to walk like me. I was thinking of extending my stay, but I had to leave solely because of the poor internet connection in my room. I wasn't able to work properly during my stay, and I didn't like it. They would just reset the modem, but it didn't help speed up the connection. The TV wasn't working as well, which wasn't a big deal, but the WiFi connection was really bad, and that kinda broke the deal.

A lit of stairs and the private room was on the fifth and last floor, in the ha noi heat it was almost unbearable

My third time here.. always great value to what you pay for. The woman at the reception is genuinely friendly and accommodating.

Everything is good. I like this hostel.

I did the Ha Giang Loop with the company and they include the free night after you return, which is a huge bonus. I needed to add two extra nights to my stay and they were very accommodating. N/A

Location and breakfast .

The location and the staffs are good. Even gave me free water. Thi was very kind. :) they even have free breakfast, not the best but it’s usual so okay. There’s a bit if smell in the bathroom that never goes out am bit sure maybe just me LOL

The beds were not comfortable
