The location was very convenient, the breakfasts and snacks were wonderful, and we loved the whimsical beautiful surroundings. Not a thing

Whimsical and very homey! We had a private canopy queen bed and spacious bathroom, with all the toiletries you could ever need! Hosts were delightful. Don greeted us when we arrived in the evening, and showed us to our room. The space has a coffee maker, toaster for bagels/English muffins, cereal, and a microwave and mini fridge. The canopy bed was such a beautiful statement piece! Decor was outstanding, very maximalist with items from all over the world. So fun to look at! In the morning, we walked down to the babbling brook and explored the forest a little! Lots of garden art everywhere, very fun. Mary was gardening in the morning, and showed us around the property! She was delightful. Overall just a beautiful stay, would recommend!

It was lovely, private, and a quiet little get away! I enjoyed every detail! The bed was so comfortable!!The patio and garden was enchanting! I missed the turn off the main road. It would be nice if there was some kind of sign viewable in both directions. The first time I turned too soon and went down a dirt road only barely wide enough for one vehicle and no way to turn around without traveling the entire way to the end of the road over a very slim bridge and all the way up to a cul-de-sac of homes to turn around before I could come back. I was in a rental car and quite frankly it was a scary experience.

Very unique, eclectic property. Friendly folks. Kitchen is not a full kitchen.

Unique and eclectic decor, comprehensive bathroom items for guests to use, super comfortable bed, and very friendly hosts that greeted us even though we arrived late at night. Definitely recommend a stay at Scott Creek Farm. The property is awesome as well, with a. creek running through that you can sit at and listen to the water. Breakfast provided was also simple but tasty and more than we needed.

The care, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail were superb. The room smelled a bit of moth balls.

It was charming and funky. Great sitting on the deck listening to the birds and the creek The funky decorations and the creek

The hosts were wonderful. Great communications and help before the trip. As you can see in the photos, the hosts have a very eclectic playful style with many collectables. Not for everyone, but we enjoyed the creativity. Don was busy planting a raised organic garden. Mary had the room spotlessly clean and stocked with every possible item a person might need or enjoy!! The breakfast with choices of fruit, toast and cereal was just what we wanted. They are very pet friendly and it was so appreciated. The little walk to the creek was great for the dogs. We are both over 80 with creaky knees and balance concerns so our only concern with the facility that I noted was that we had to be so careful carrying things and taking the dogs on leashes going up and down the steps to the nice little porch in front of our door. Maybe I should have mentioned that before hand and been assigned a different room. I am sure Mary would have been helpful. I should have mentioned our difficulty with steps.

This is such a fun, eclectic place, and the hosts could not have been more welcoming. I highly recommend the Scott Creek Farm. Nothing.

The hostess was sweet and the bed was comfortable, and that’s about it. First, the driveway was not marked well, and it was hard to find. The presentation of the house was dismal. The front garden was bedraggled and dried out. I almost turned around before I opened my car door, but the hostess emerged and greeted me kindly, so we went to look at the room, which is a freestanding apartment. This was approached by a series of cinderblock and rock paths and stairs, which were extremely uneven. Likewise, the wooden stairs climbing to the back porch were of differing heights, and the handrail was difficult to reach for the first couple of steps. In short, this place is not accommodating to anyone with any kind of mobility issues. The hostess clearly knew this, as she was hovering and offering help all the way into the apartment. The apartment was fine; clean, but very eccentrically decorated, with an apparent attempt to achieve a quaint ambience. The garden view was a deteriorating backyard with old furniture stashed in inconspicuous spots. It all seems as though what might have been pretty once has gone to seed. Monique, the hostess, was almost intrusive in her concern that I would hurt myself returning to the apartment after dark, and when taking my belongings to and from the car. While I appreciated her help, she acted as if I were a toddling elder, rather than a 77-year-old woman who needed assistance with her suitcase.

Very quiet at night, nice short trail to sit by creek, easy to drive into city and airport, much better than staying in a hotel. A more comfortable chair for sitting inside.

My wife and I didn't really enjoy our stay here this week. It's a little hard parking around the pickups in the driveway. The smell of the room really hit us hard - mildew and too much potpourri. Felt like visiting your grandparents' house. The room & bathroom are stuffed with Americana knickknacks & art you either enjoy it or, like us, are overwhelmed. It's funky, funky, funky. Positives include it was very clean, they offer lots of food items, they have many toiletries in case you forget something, and the host was very nice.

The cottage is well stocked for breakfast. The setting reminds me of my family’s rustic cabin in the woods of Montana. Only now you will have hot water, a large bathroom and all the amenities of a modern kitchen!!! Lovley! I wish we could have stayed longer.

This room just made me smile! Scott Creek Farm is a hidden treasure. It’s a kitschy, eclectic European vibe nestled above a creek. Our host was adorable and the room was well appointed with cold breakfast choices, coffee and water. There is also a great selection of bathroom amenities.

Warmly greeted upon arrival. Room was well-stocked with variety of breakfast options & tons of toiletries in case we’d forgotten anything. Very quiet & close to shopping.
