Staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms are large, clean and quiet.

This property requires all people in your group to be over 21 with State ID or driver's license. The issue is if you are traveling with a passport you have to go through a strict screening. I felt they was worst this TSA and this is a casino hotel. I will not recommend going there for anything. We were going to a graduation and a member had traveled from Germany and we spent over an hour showing passports, credit cards and finally a return ticket before there Supervisor approve entry.

Worse experience ever

The rate for the room was relatively inexpensive and the room was comfortable enough but there was a lot of wear and tear showing that could use some polishing up. There was dust all over the shelves in the bathroom, one of the lotion dispensers was hanging out of the wall and the wallpaper was peeling. The men’s room on the main floor needed paint - the plumbing access panel was rusty and there was missing molding. The bathroom was clean but gave you an overall appearance of being rundown. They are constructing a huge addition to the building (one if the elevators was not working so there was a long wait for the only elevator) with new rooms and I hope they give some attention to the old rooms. The staff was nice enough (except for the lady that was manning the coffee bar who was a very impatient grouch).

I declined and ended up changing in the bathroom for my event. Not the best situation.

Clean room. Great service, friendly staff

Jakes 58 is a nice hotel, clean, with professional staff. Jakes 58 has a nice area to buy food and snacks. Jakes 58 does need a gym area with trendmills, exercise bikes, and free weights e.g. sets of dumbells 10 to 40 pounds for adults to work out. Jakes 58 also needs swimming pool and jacuzzi so adults can swim and relax in hot tub. A karoke area would be nice. If Jakes 58 could add a gym, pool & karoke area , this would truly make Jakes 58 a great casino for Adults only.

The property was nicer than I expected. The casino was full of many fun slot machines. The Bistro had $7.00 drinks from 11am to 2:00pm. That was great!!! The room was spacious and clean. I would recommend going there to any excitement seeking adults. 👍

Great place to gamble and great food.

The staff never smiled. I needed toilet paper and had to keep going down 9 flights because there was no staff to bring up. One elevator working made the wait longer.
-
No included breakfast, no pool, no Gym no coffee maker, no microwave. The best part about our stay was the staff all of the staff were so kind and sweet especially Suzanne and our cleaning crew that cleaned our room they were wonderful

The room was very clean. The staff was woundful. The only problem i had was the hole place smelled like marijuana. Dont get me wrong i dont mind it a little BUT it was so strong!

Easy to get NYC from Central Islip, a little pricey, but if in need of a decent place to stay the won’t break the bank as in staying in NYC proper but definitely bring some extra cash for gambling and food.

Great food at Bistro 58. Casino is typical. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel needs MAJOR renovating. Rooms are decent size but the carpeting throughout is stained, torn or buckling. I was told renovations were the plan in the near future.

Excessive noise from the casino late into the night

Bars and restaurant ,Too expensive for the casino, lack of amenities
