I really liked the fact that there was oat milk for breakfast. Vegan food should be promoted, even in hotels.

Excellent, definitely the best stuff. Much appreciated! The parking garage next door has white lights that shoots directly into the room, however they have thick curtains!! I personally don’t drink tap water so that was a problem for me too!

One of the best place & the best facilities & sooo well thought out & detailed facilities. Loved it that I had to extend it. Super kind & nice people.. loved them. Nothing.. ITS THE BEST.

The hostel was close to everything and had a nice kitchen. It was just the right amount of social for my preferences :) not to much talking all the time but not so little that you’re just standing and sitting not saying anything. Would’ve liked if the like “eating” area was a bit more accommodating for multiple people but might’ve just happened to time my dinner and lunch exactly when the most people were there.

The staff is very kind to give information. The hostel is very cute and comfortable to stay.

Carmen and her team are top notch in creating a welcoming, clean, safe stay experience. You can't beat the location. I look forward to staying here again. There is nothing I did not like.

It is very clean, beautiful Nothing everything was more than perfect. I felt very welcomed.

Friendly staff, free cereal, coffee and tea. Includes a locker with lock; it can hold a carry-on and a backpack. The location is good for walking to the castle

Location is the best, the host Carment is very helpful and friendly. She always helps us with big smiles. Room was tidy and comfortable. We will recommend it definitely.

The property is very clean and organized. It has plenty of showers available and I didn’t face any kind of waiting to take a shower. The location is excellent, just at the start of the castle path and close to the main street. I would certainly stay at Lotte - The Backpackers again in case I go to Heidelberg.

I stayed at this hostel and it’s honestly the best one I’ve ever experienced. Its location couldn’t be better—right next to the castle and in the heart of the old town, which makes everything feel magical from the moment you step outside. What truly makes this place special, though, is the people who run it—especially Carmen and Barbra. They create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. In fact, the first thing I said to Carmen was, “It feels like home ✌️”. The hostel itself is full of character. The walls are decorated with photos from travelers who’ve stayed here over the years, and the bright colors bring so much life and inspiration to the space. One of my favorite parts was the well-equipped kitchen and the cozy living room. It’s the perfect place to sit, relax, and connect with other guests—you’ll definitely leave with new friends. I felt so safe, comfortable, and truly at home here. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did ?
