Location right in the Altstadt is perfect. There was no on site parking available wheNin we were there. We parked overnight in a city garage only a few blocks away for 16€/night. Breakfast was delicious with many options. We booked air conditioned rooms which all worked out as per our booking. Owner of the Gasthaus was so pleasant and accomadating of children. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Heidelberg.

This hotel is right in the old town and is very close to all shops cafes etc. our rooms were airconditioned which made our stay doubly comfortable as it hit 37 degrees and there about during our 4 day stay. It was hot … coming back to a cool room and being able to sleep made such a difference to our stay doubly comfortable. Can’t think of anything really. Breakfast which was included in our room fee was simply but very adequate.

Location location… It is the center of the Altstadt and close to the tourist attractions. There was no safe in the room so we had to carry our valuables. And the breakfast was lack of variety of good.

Great breakfast selections. Formal Restaurant was exceptional. Prevalence of cigarette smoke in our room.

It is in the old town, walking distance to all the sights, yet it is very quiet and cozy.

The location is great, very central and yet very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast could have benefitted from having a bit more variety, in particular pastries.

It was very hot in the room. It was 90(F) and too hot to sleep. My room is #33. Three windows are facing west. The AC is too small to cool down the room. Talked to the hotel manager and showed him the temperature 88(F). He said it was normal temperature to all rooms. Room is too hot to sleep. The elevator can’t get up to my room. I have to carry my heavy suitcase for ten steps.

The location was perfect an the hotel was beautiful. Rooms were large, shower was hot and pressure excellent., very clean! Staff was very nice. I don't normally check out physically from a room but when I left I was told I didnt pay.. It was reserved with my card but they don't automatically charge it. It was a little bit confusing. and a little bit of a language issue. but all was handled and it didn't make my rating go down. It was just a little confusing at the end.

Very oldschool-smalltown experience, for exemple no AC. But also big rooms and an excellente breakfast with scrambled eggs made à la minute. Very silent.

The quiet in the rooms and the courtyard. It would be good if it had USB sockets.
