As a regular guest, I can honestly say that my stays at DORMERO Hotel Sri Lanka Hikkaduwa Beach have always been exceptional. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive service throughout my stay, the team consistently makes me feel valued and at home. The hotel combines modern comfort with a stunning beachfront location, creating the perfect setting for both relaxation and adventure. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and offer breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. What keeps me coming back, however, is the outstanding hospitality. The staff go above and beyond to make every stay special, always greeting guests with genuine smiles and a willingness to help. The restaurant is another highlight, serving delicious food made with fresh ingredients and offering a great variety of local and international dishes. After many visits, I can confidently say that this hotel has become my favorite place to stay in Sri Lanka. It feels less like a hotel and more like a second home. We seldom or almost never go to the same hotels on our travels, BUT there is one exeption; your looking at it ;) ...we have been their guest about 4 times now, each time they go above and beyond to welcome us and to make our stay as good as possible. Fran and her staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is superb! You should also try their Sri Lanka house curry ?? Nothing!

The location is great, the hotel has its entry to the beach. You feel the privacy there, also close to Galle and other surf locations. The stuff is great and manager she is amazing and friendly. Also breakfasts are nice. We stayed in room with private terrace garden - super recommended. I would say that everything was good.

This is the best hotel in Sri Lanka hands down. From the decor, the comfort, the cleanliness, the good vibes, the food, the amazing breakfast, the sea view, the professional staff, the value for money. I was blown away. The managers Franco and Sanuka are exceptional humans who made us so comfortable and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. The bed is the comfiest I’ve slept in for years and I’ve never felt more nourished or relaxed. I can’t praise the overall experience enough and I would only stay here when I visit Sri Lanka again. For an unforgettable relaxed stay this is without a doubt the hotel !! The massage was also very very good and I highly recommend the spa treatments. The chefs among the most professional and high quality I experienced. Absolutely nothing to not like. I can only praise this hotel and the amazing staff. Heaven on earth.

It was simply amazing from the beginning to the end! An experience like no other ?. My friend and I were upgraded and had wonderful sea views and enjoyed watching the surfers. All staff were professional and friendly and went out of their way to provide the best experience ever! We fell in love with the adorable Kiki the local hotel dog. Franzi was incredible and added a personal touch to your stay and always had a smile on her face. I have stayed in many hotels over my years of traveling and this hotel is simply THE BEST!

The staff, particularly the hotel manager, were very friendly and helpful in recommending and organising activities such as surfing lessons. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and the hotel facilities superb. The location is right on the beach and there are good restaurants nearby. All expectations were met.
