Really nice and beautiful hotel, very calm. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Hikkaduwa, which I found ideal since it was not noisy and crowded in the neighbourhood. Walking distances to restaurants and cafes as well as the beach. Excellent staff, delicious food.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the pleasant and positive hotel staff and immediately checked in. The hotel is small and cozy. I would like to note the cleanliness - everything is shiny, the rooms are cleaned daily. the room has a full standard set: WiFi, safe, minibar, hair dryer, minimal set of dishes. You can ask the staff for everything you need. our reservation was with breakfast, it takes a long time to cook, but it's delicious! my personal recommendation is shakshuka and avocado toast. The breakfast menu is small, and I got a little tired by the end of the trip, but it seems to me that it's like this almost everywhere. excellent location, everything is close: the beach, shops, restrooms, and a currency exchange office I didn't notice any critical flaws. unless they cook in the kitchen for a long time, but you can beat that by ordering in advance.

The staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. They really made our stay. The location is very central to everything going on in Hikkaduwa. The pool is lovely and big enough to swim lengths. The room is styled and furnished to a very high standard and the bed was really comfy. We booked this hotel 10 months in advance and all rooms were of the same room type on Booking.com. Therefore we booked a deluxe double room with balcony and breakfast included. On booking I requested a quiet room in the hotel. On arrival we were given a room on the ground floor (room 4). The ‘balcony’ looked directly onto a concrete wall. The room was very noisy as was directly next to the restaurant. Therefore we could hear all conversations in the restaurant and I am sure they could hear ours. This meant the room didn’t feel very private at all. The drains in the bathroom made a lot of noise I presume from when the upstairs rooms were having showers. The WiFi is very poor and can only be used for sending messages. We couldn’t use internet banking/weather app etc. Overall we were disappointed that despite booking so far in advance we were given a poor room. We do appreciate it was New Years Eve and the hotel was busy. The hotel staff did offer to move us the second night of our stay but given we were only staying two nights it didn’t seem worth packing all our stuff back up and moving for one night. I would avoid staying in room 3 or 4 (both on the ground floor) if you choose to book this hotel.

We had a fabulous stay at the Temptation hotel. The room was gorgeous, and so was the view, the breakfast and the pool. We were met by excellent personell who made sure our stay was great from start to finish. We highly recommend Temptation and Hikkaduwa.

The cleanest place we stayed during our 2 week journey through Sri Lanka. The place is very well maintained and very friendly staff. Rooms are a little bit noisy due to the busy road, instead of 2 of the same pillows, offer 2 different ones.

The best hotel we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka (out of 5 hotels on our trip). Everything was outstanding. The staff and service were fantastic and friendly. Delicious and well-priced food in the restaurant. The bed was very comfortable. Will recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat. Just beautiful!
