Nothing that suite lanka can do but the water is very rough in that area so for small kids, you need to be extremely careful as the rip tides are very strong. They could clean up the beach outside their premises also, if each hotel along the beach took care of their own area, the public beach would be a beautiful place to stay.

Lovely small and comfortable hotel right on the beach with exceptional staff. The food at Odin was also amazing. I really appreciated the honest information provided on the hotel provided eg to not swim at the beach, and the breakfast pack prepared for my early check out Nothing, all fabulous

The location is in a quiet area about a 15+ min walk South of Turtle Beach/Hikkadua Beach. Big beach but undertow makes it better for walking than swimming. It is very quiet, best for couples or couples with small children.

The staff were excellent, led by the outstanding Siri. The property is quirky and ideally placed on the sandy beach. We loved having our meals overlooking the sea. The food was great with a very wide choice at reasonable rates. The property is showing its age in a few areas. No ac in bathroom area. The pool is small with space for only two loungers which are poorly placed. The sea adjacent to the hotel is too rough to swim in.

Lovely room with air con, TV, tea/coffee and balcony looking over the beach. Good bar and restaurant, and sun loungers available on the beach Price on the higher side, but overall worth it

Generous sized clean rooms in colonial style, with ocean views from the balcony. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was extremely generous and served on a sandy patio overlooking the beach. Food at Olin’s, was amazing! We loved the jumbo prawns and local curries. Happy hour drinks were a bonus. It was in a great location, a 30 minute walk to Hikkaduwa and turtle beach. The surf out the front was lovely to watch, but less safe to swim, however there was a patrolled beach a short walk away where a surf school was located. We also enjoyed the pool. As a family group spread across three rooms, it was perfect!

Family of 4 traveling for one day to Hikkadua and were met with wonderful service and a lovely place to stay. We had a ground floor double room and it was incredible spacious, clean and comfortable. Right on the beach and a quick tuktuk ride to the marine safari park (wouldn't rate that too high) and also the turtle beach. We walked down on the beach to the hotel on the way back and there were some lovely places along the beach, including restaurants etc. Breakfast was nice and the pool was a nice too.

A good position if one likes the beach. Reasonably quiet.Staff very helpful & friendly. A pleasant view from the room facing West, so a nice sunset, depending on the weather. Very over priced for an at the most a 2 to 3 star hotel. Room small & rather cramped. Hotel in need of some renovation.

It’s a lovely Boutique place with direct beach access, the facility is tranquil and quite. Their food is amazing at Colin‘s. Their staff are helpful and attentive they have a lovely clean pool. I will definitely come back thank you Siri, Kumara and Team. Our child was very happy at the pool and he loved the hammock and the fish

The staff were extremely helpful, answering our queries instantly. Fantastic location. Food was delicious, we had lobster and the next morning Sri Lankan breakfast.

The accommodation is in an excellent location, far from the crowds of tourists, on a peaceful and quiet beach with big waves. The hotel’s restaurant is exceptionally delicious! The hotel is a bit old, which I was aware of when booking—that’s exactly why we chose it, as we liked its style. However, upon entering the room, we immediately noticed the damp air, moldy walls, and air conditioning. The inner curtains and windows were also somewhat dirty. We reported the mold issue, and they quickly tried to address it. After that, the stay became more comfortable, so we didn’t check out early.
