Fantastic family owned hotel right on the beach on the quiet side of town. Rooms and bed are comfortable. ACs in the rooms function well. Delicious home cooked local Sri Lankan food , the friendliest of people , warm welcome, fresh juices, great quiet beach (swimmable). The team go out of their way to help you and give you tips. They found a driver for us and tour guide too. Amazing sunsets ! (Just note it is not in the centre so Tuk Tuk needed to go most touristy places. We did not mind that at all. There are food options nearby) Thank you for making our stay memorable Sailors Bay! We loved staying with you. We will be back! Absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

The location was fantastic. We had a room with ocean views. The beach is just in front of the property and there was a covered courtyard to sit and enjoy the beach view. The hosts were friendly, kind and very helpful We had a car so it was easy to get to Turtle beach and good eating places. If you don't have your own private vechile you will need to take a Tuk Tuk to Turtle and snorkelling beach

Perfect place to relax! Friendly staff who are very welcoming. Room was clean and the beds super comfy. Location is good in that it's quiet, you wouldn't know you were on a busy road when the gate is shut. Sound of the ocean, especially at night is wonderful. Sun lounges on the beach are a nice touch. Not many restaurants open due to end of season. A bit far to walk into town, but plenty of tuk tuks (use pick me) and buses.

Lovely accommodation in a quiet area. Located right on the beach. Walk to the next bay a 200m to see the local fishing boats. Good restaurants nearby. With easy reach of Hikkiduwa and Galle.Lovely breakfast. Staff extremely helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional

Tasty breakfasts; beautiful view to the sea, the sunset and sometimes lightnings; terrace with our own corner; protected from mosquitoes; many shelves; you get to hear both the sea waves and the road noises, but in Hikkaduwa if you want to stay near the sea you get to stay near the road too; you also get access to a kitchen and utensils. The nicest staff who are ready and willing to help with all requests and who answered all our questions. The best beach in Hikkaduwa because it's safe from the dangerous currents. We first stayed there for 5 nights, but then extended it. We saw a few cockroaches in our room, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Adding more hangers in the bathroom is a suggestion:)

Really loved the location, the staff is very sweet and always there if you need anything. İt was clean and right at the beach. You will sleep with the sound of waves in the night, İ loved it and İm thinking about going back actually!

Everything! It was very clean and we had the sea view room which was incredible the beach right in front of the hotel is not crowded at all and beautiful with nice waves but you are still able to swim. We were a little sceptical because of the affordable price in my opinion, this was worth even more! They have a kitchen as well or you can cook your own meals if you like, but they have very good food options as well. Unbeatable room at this price point and I can recommend anyone who is hesitating to just book it. Big thanks to the brothers that own this place who helped us with everything starting from cars to trips. Nothing at all

So close to the beach and the owners were so kind and helpful Only one thing was that the bed was really creaky and I woke up a lot in the night Might need a look at.

Heavenly beachfront guesthouse on a long, peaceful beach. Beautiful stylish rooms, nice food and nice people. Nothing! It was perfect.
