Located in Hippach in the Ziller Valley, Alpenhotel Stefanie is set between the Mayrhofen-Hippach and Zillertal Arena/Kaltenbach ski areas . The nearest ski station Horbergbahn is less than 0.6 mi away from the hotel. It´s reachable by a regular free ski-bus, which stops in front of the main entrance. Snow-shoe hikes as well as cross-country skiing are also possible nearby. Guests can relax at the bar area with a fireplace. The hotel features a range of different rooms, from the old Zillertal style economy rooms to modern Alpine style panoramic suites. All rooms have a balcony. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the on-site restaurant with panoramic mountain views. Dinners can be enjoyed in the Stefanie Restaurant offering dishes of international cuisine as well as local Zillertal specialties. Location, size of room , local restaurants (especially bar83 which was excellent Sauna no textile clothing policy - is not right when facilities are mixed would not be comfortable taking my daughter and using the sauna

Dinner was of finest quality. Good breakfast buffet. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Pool heater was broken, so couldn’t swim, though the pool area was beautiful. Service at dinner was sometimes good, sometimes chaotic, e.g. not enough napkins, no pepper shaker but 2 salt shakers. 8:00h start for breakfast is too late. Even with the radiator at full blast, our room never got comfortably warm at outside temperatures below -6°C.

Amazing location near to the lifts. Very friendly staff, especially Czech girls at the breakfast. We had a halfboard and the dinner was very delicious (starter, main food and desert). I would say it was the best food we ever had at the hotel. Breakfast was also very tasty. Wellness area is perfect. We had a panorama room which was modern, new and clean with amazing view from the bed. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much and we will definetely come back.

the bed was quite good, the room had a lot of storage space, the saunas and the pool area were good, the breakfast was good, the dinner was generally tasty. The staff was friendly and approachable, thank you! The pillows were bad, the wardrobe sliding doors were poorly designed, the soundproofing of the rooms was only reasonable, the rooms and the entire hotel were a bit untidy and some places had been left unmaintained. I would pay special attention to cleanliness. There were too many broken ski racks in the ski room and the ski room was not locked. In the pool department there were deficiencies in soap and functioning showers.

We had "halbpension" (breakfast and dinner). We had perfect quality breakfast, but the cook made so delicious food for dinner, especially soups, and main dish. What I can recommend, the food and the cook recipies are so much more than expected. Another great thing was staff (receptionist, waitress at restaurant were fast, very warm, and extrememly helpful. thank to them, our stay was also very pleasant. Hotel has own bar, so you can easily get something fresh apresski drink. Hotel has own spa, and pool, it´s very welcoming after skiing.
