Breakfast was excellent with several options to choose from and in unlimited quantities. Dinner was also great with three meals to choose from. The dinner menu is chosen at breakfast each day.

This hotel is a family driven hotel i.e. requests are easily provided - always with a smile. The food was very very good (everyone in the family liked it every day) We went for half board and had decided from home to go out for a restaurant during the week, but we never did because it WAS a super restaurant in Schwarzer Adler. Every day offered three main courses of choice - almost the exact same salat and dessert buffet - but didn’t miss anything. The sauna / rest area, with a not warm enough hot top, closed at 19:00. We came back to the hotel at 17:15 and dinner was at 18:00 - so we (hardly) didn’t manage to use it. But we never asked for an extension in the opening hours either - I would be sure that it would be possible.
