Minh Chau Hotel

It a quiet place with a lot of friendly cats to pet. Owners are nice people and try their best to make your stay comfortable. Hotel is a little old but definitely well cleaned. It’s definitely good for it’s value Windows in the rooms are small so getting daylight and ventilation is hard. Better consider before booking

It’s ok location, but the room is is so dirty full of insects, ants, roaches and mosquitoes The room is really dirty and roach infested. Dozens of mosquitoes when checked in, room smells mold

We needed somewhere to stay just for the afternoon as we were catching a late night train and a standard room here was cheap and convenient for the train station. The room was basic and had no windows but it was clean and relatively comfortable with a decent bed, TV, fridge and effective air con. The bathroom had a decent shower and toiletries were provided. The staff here are very friendly and we chatted with the young man on reception with the aid of Translate as we waited for our taxi to the station. The shower could have been a little hotter.

Located on a very interesting street, near lots of great things. The owner is super friendly, and introduced me to her many cats - be sure to check out the little patio on the top floor. No windows

Phu the owner was very good very pleasant very kind woman-she showed me the park for dancing on Saturdays and Sundays-a very educated woman-i liked her kind nature.The hotel has tv with foreign channels-cnn bbc tv5 australian-only hotel in this price range with such channels.The staff were hard working and nice-well mannered.Best wishes to Phu and her hotel-from Dermot. Affordable No windows, but that’s fine

Lovely hotel offering a more authentic experience in Saigon, away from the tourist district. The family who own the hotel are lovely and the room is clean, rustic + spacious. The location is 10/10, the street food is amazing! Just outside is Viet Cafe and a stall that sells delicious Bo Kho (beef stew) for breakfast. Also there is a supermarket, mini mart, laundry and many many food, coffee, and juice stalls in the street. I would recommend getting the room with balcony, as the street life is interesting to watch.

The friendly and ever helpful staff and owner. Felt like you were home with a hall bedroom and bathroom the size of a bedroom. The staff helps you carry baggage but a lift would be a boon. It's a little off the centre but they arrange transport for you

Lovely local hotel- great staff, welcoming locals and good Vietnamese food options on street. Walking distance to train station and bus stops at end of road.

I couldn't be more happy or satisfied, or both, with my stay at this hotel! Good location, it's just a walk (keep in mind, there's no pedestrian space in this area) from the Saigon Railways Station, this street has places where to eat or buy groceries, also a good idea to grab a "Grab bike/cat taxi" and reach the city's downtown without any major obstacle. I want to thank Ms Phu personally for her exceptional and humane hospitality attitude & good vibes and shared positivity; readiness to give a hint/advice/a tip on where to go and what to do around the city. You're a very nice lady, and I'm glad we met. Honored. Looking forward to coming to Saigon sometime next :) P. S. The room I stayed in is located on the very top of the building, there's a very beautiful garden, and five cats living - amazing; it just felt at home, very peaceful and calm. Sometimes it was hard to believe I actually was in Saigon at the same time (hustle and bustle city altogether with its zillions of bikes haha). The rooms were new, the facilities were new, and it was very clean. There's a school nearby, and kids were playing too hard and loud right from the early morning. This cannot be changed though. It's how to look at it, for me it was a good wake-up call, not to waste time and go explore Saigon city.

Exceptional

I had stayed 11 years before ,the location is fine as its in walking distance to most things like Shops . The staff were very helpful ordering taxis etc. The rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable The Wi-Fi worked fine. It has a nice atmosphere. An electric kettle so i could make coffee in the morning. Everything else was fine .The owner brought hot water for me to make a coffee.

Fire the receptionist, fire the cleaner. While you are at it, fire the sleeping security guard. Dirty, dirty place. No hot water.

Super friendly helpful staff. Comparatively quiet. My room was neat and tidy, and was cleaned by request. Very old wardrobe with creaky doors ?

I stayed at Minh Chau hotel for a month and a half while visiting family in HCMC. I like that it's conveniently located within a short distance walk to the grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy, laundry places, coffee shops. The staff is attentive and sweet. Room is clean with a comfy bed. I especially like to hang out on the terrace in the evenings. Great value for your stay while exploring the city.
