It’s very Saigon, just perfect

The property is situated on the river, which was pretty and quiet. The property needed some care. Entry to hotel was basic/poor decoratively.No one except porter to greet as reception was at the rear of hotel.Confussion re lenght of stay ran on through our two night stay and refund was unresolved on departure with booking partner saying hotel would fix and hotelsaying they were not responsible for late amendments. Hand rail on staircase varnish chipped,soft furnishings had seen better days. Reception staff were not flexible, or confident in their approach-poor English contributed to lack of understanding. Poor quality fittings/linen/towels/bathroom ammnetities in room. A boat transfer to the city is advertised as running 'through out the day' Reality was it ran once a day to the city at 10.00 and return was not until 1630.First day, the 1630 boat did not even arrive, so we had to contact the hotel for support as we were not sure how to get back to the property as it was our first day in Saigon. Breakfast quality poor; little in the way of baked goods for example. We had paid for the most expensive room and had hoped for more.

Great staff, large quality room, on the river so excellent views. The food was excellent too. The river taxi is not currently running as they await a permit from the government.

Very nice people, beautiful hotel. They were renovating when we were there, but the service and food and room were still perfect.

Beautiful hotel amd lovely staff

The property is nice. It feels like a big guest house which was warm and cozy. The rooms have nice style. And the staff made the experience unique. They were so invested in our trip and making sure we had things to do and good places to go. They offer a hotel boat to bring you from the hotel to the financial center which is closer to stuff to do. The hotel is located in District 2 which is a quieter area mostly higher end residences. The salt water pool is beautiful and clean and large. We used it daily to relax during downtown. And the food at the hotel is really good. Better than most food we’ve had elsewhere in Vietnam. Breakfast was from a menu which is different from the buffets we’ve had most other spots. Nothing really. Maybe it’s a bit far from the touristic stuff to do but it’s a few dollar taxi ride and it’s so peaceful to get away from the chaos.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and made our stay very special. The building is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. The transfer to downtown by boat was the best. Nothing.

Liked the staff and river view. No boat, there was a very loud office party during stay, very quiet.

Amazing view of river from the room and the confortable beds and room. We were on the 3rd floor with great views, yet no elevator, and my friend had lots of luggage. So travel light.

Excellent location. Staff could not have been more helpful. All the food was of excellent quality and well served. Swimming pool was well maintained. Air conditioning in bedroom was a little noisy.

Staff are really lovely and very helpful. Beautiful Old house. Bedrooms very comfortable, bathrooms very clean. Inside Hotel clean generally apart from upholstery. The location is great and the speedboat in to the city works well. The Air Con was great Lovely swimming pool. 20 metres or so. Great location to walk down the road 15 mins to spa's, a large array of fantastic restaurants, ATM'S, Supermarkets. Cat Cafe too! The Laundry Service was excellent. The Hotel is very well photographed - It is VERY tired and in need of investment. We almost left and went somewhere else. The reception desk looks like an office and could do with smartening up. Most of the upholstered chairs and sofas in our rooms were stained and furniture was chipped and bashed - and burnt from straightening tongs. Our bedding was ripped, clean and unstained, but old. ALL the fabric sunbeds by the pool were very dirty and stained, some sagged as were broken. The parasols were very dirty. The chairs and tables by the pool are rusty and old and the buckets and hose etc need tidying away by the pool. The pool shower barely worked. Pool towels stained with bleach etc. We had a chest of drawers outside our room where everyone's used room service trays were left on. It's not the hotels fault but there is presently in Jan 2025 a construction site next door which is noisy everyday very early from 7ish (they don't stop on the weekend). We weren't informed of that when booking. They hosted 2 Weddings, 2 of the nights of our 4 night stay which are disruptive and the level of service for Hotel guests drops. We were told about those on the day! This hotel has a huge amount of unrealised potential. I would love to smarten it up, it wouldn't take much!

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was chosen from a large menu choice. Staff were very helpful. We were moved to a suite and the view over the river was lovely. The free speed boat transfer to the centre was fun. Building site next door started early and continued till late. When we first arrived we were put in a room overlooking the building works but we asked to be moved and the staff did this straight away. It wasn’t an issue for us but be careful which room you book if the building is still happening
