The room gets very hot from the big window and the direct sun, the curtains didn’t shut out the light completely.

This is a hotel of the same "chain" as the one in Myvatn. Did not equal that stay, but it was comfortable, clean, and the staff were friendly.

We had the parking lot view but, the view from registration was gorgeous! The hotel was a little bit dated but, clean. Water pressure was a little light.

Great location. Nice breakfast Poor design of shower. Water went everywhere. Staff never spoke until you spoke first. No smiles. They looked miserable.Room was so incredibly hot. Room overlooked black roof even though hotel pretty much empty. You book hotel and then find out it’s greater than $100 cheaper. But, by that time you can’t cancel because you lose your money if you cancel. Don’t book ahead of time. Very expensive hotel. Don’t book ahead of time. You will save hundreds by booking day of.

It seems it’s in process of updating which is great. We had a room with a view but the windows needed a cleaning.

Excellent coastal location next to trail and walking distance to restaurants. Clean. Pleasant staff. No elevator. Beds a bit uncomfortable. Much construction noise that started very early. Bathroom has very tiny shower.

The Berjaya in Hofn is located with stunning views right on the water and in easy walking distance to great restautants, breweries and more! The bar area offered a lovely place to enjoy a drink and watch the weather. The location was perfect for enjoying beers at Horn Brugghus and a fabulous dinner at Pakkus! f The hotel given its location definitely sees high traffic. As a result the facilities are a bit worn. The hallway to our room did smell of cigarettes at first, and some of the elements and spaces could use updating.

I loved this hotel! It has wonderful windows to observe Auroras, good parking lots and a decent breakfast. Staff is also extra friendly and the rooms are clean and big.

The staff were very friendly and professional, and the rooms were next to each other as requested. The location was perfect for going to the diner for brunch, restaurants for dinner, the docks for photos, and to the Universe sculpture close to the water. If I'd realized it, I would have asked for rooms with a view of the water, which were on the other side of the building.
