Location and kitchen facilities. Easy access and good parking.

Absolutely appalling. The window panes are visibly cracked in several places, which is a serious safety hazard and completely unacceptable for guest accommodation. The bathroom has no effective ventilation, and the entire room was filled with a strong, unpleasant smell when we arrived. Opening the window is hardly a solution when it sits directly above two large rubbish bins. The floor is covered in stains, and the curtains are poorly fitted that they do not block out the light at all. To make matters worse, there was no one at reception and nobody responded to our email, leaving us with no way to raise these issues or get any assistance. For the price charged, the condition of this room and the complete lack of service are disgraceful. This is easily one of the worst places we have ever stayed. I would strongly advise others to avoid it.

The room and access to facilities was great. We had an incident with the shower head, but it was VERY quickly resolved by the owner. The response time was awesome, and everything was fixed quickly.

Great location, clean, everything you need for a short stay

Our room on the upper floor was spacious and clean, Very nice bathroom and shower. The cooking facilities and coffee machine in the common room were very nice. Hofn is a lovely town.

The guesthouse has everything you need for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area has great hot drink options as well as games to play. Our room was fantastic---very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was our best sleep on the trip! (This might also be due to our trip to the local pool, which is only minutes away. Take advantage.) Very well located and cozy--recommended! Kitchen is a bit small, but really, everything was great.

Hard to heat up the space

We liked the kitchen and the coffee brewing machine. The location was very accessible to the main attractions around. Recommend this for families.

You could easily hear in between rooms and on the hallway. The room was a bit on the smaller side.

Wonderful communal kitchen and eating area. Cozy rooms, nice location by the harbor and close to grocery! A local kitty came by to visit and say hi to us.

A charming family-like guesthouse just a stone's throw from the harbor and the main restaurant in Höfn, and reasonably priced (as far as that term can be applied in Iceland). By the way, there is a block of electric car chargers just 200 meters away.

Loved having the shared kitchen area and dining room . Our room was quite comfortable. Great location ! Filter coffee machine but that’s just us we prefer .
