The room was a bit small and the fact that we were asked to take off our shoes before we entered.
-
It was well maintained and well run. Seems very clean. the wifi in the lower level room is very weak. The door does lock on close and can lock you out.

Amazing hostel. Very clean, great atmosphere and love the location. Would for sure stay again. N/A

Very clean & nice- meeting all our needs! Noise in public spaces- unfortunately some people were not respectful in following the posted rules, and were up late talking near our room.

Excellent hospitality, great service, and a team that truly cares about their guests. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland.

It’s friendly, it’s clean, it’s comfortable. The kitchen area is clean and easy to use. The shower room is clean and nice to use.
-
We could walk to most interesting places from there.

A little pricey

Very lively hostel. Clean and spacious. Very helpful staff. Ample of kitchen and dining space, even for after hours. Bathrooms are somewhat limited but not that problematic; it’s doable

There are some strict no shoe rules, but it is helpful to keep the floor clean..it's worth the sacrifice.

I didn’t like anything about the property. The manager was rude when we arrived. We put our things on a bed, and then went to go and get a bite to eat in the kitchen, and when we came back, somebody moved our stuff to a different bed. We barely got any sleep with how loud the snoring was from other people in the room.

Excellent Kitchen - with not just coffee, but hot chocolate also ! The person that checked us in showed us a room where we could dry out our wet clothes and shoes. Nothing - Everything was excellent

Just as expected

It was very easy to check in. Communication was great. The only thing was the carpet as it had a smell.

Clean and spacy Big and feels crouded

Comfortable well organized hostel with shared sleeping spaces and common areas. Friendly staff and guests, mostly travelers visiting the South coast of Iceland. Nice kitchen area. Slept well. Free coffee :-) Price seemed high for a shared space, but I guess that is how it is everywhere in Iceland. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

A little spendy - but great value compared to other lodging costs in Hofn (family of 5).

Nice facility Every time you had to open outside shoes and put in to basket was cumbersome. Bathrooms are occupied a lot of time and we had to wait to use it

Both rooms and bathroom were clean and reasonably spacious (one-person room and bathroom was quite spacious). Staff was nice and check-in was without issues. Wi-fi worked well. Shared spaces were clean and very pleasant to eat breakfast and relax. There are some supermarkets and restaurants in Hofn in general, but nothing after 21-22. Both our rooms had windows right by the entrance to the hostel and apparently that is the place for smokers and place for late night meetings. We could not open windows, because otherwise we had cigarette smoke in the room. And even late at night we had to listen to the other guests and could not sleep. Storage space is very limited.
