Breakfast was good. Staff did try to address our concerns. Free bikes to borrow. Location - the beach was under reconstruction and couldn't use it, we were not notified of this until the night before. The sea view rooms have a high concrete balustrade making it almost impossible to view the sea. The sea view rooms don't have a toilet door, just a see through curtain!! A 10 -15 minute bike ride to go into An Bang for restaurants.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms, extremely friendly staff, and just a great vibe in general. Breakfast was good and the pools were nice. Right on the beach and walkable to restaurants. We had a 2nd floor room and a 3rd floor "upgraded" room. The upgraded room had a gorgeous bathroom, but the views from the 2nd floor and the 2nd floor balcony were actually much better. When we got tired of the local cuisine we enjoyed several meals at Thom's, a smoothie and coffee place just down the road. The ONLY reason I might hesitate before booking this hotel again is the location. We enjoyed walking to meals but everything else was a car ride (albeit a cheap one). Hoi An was a quick easy trip, but the drive to DaNang took much longer than it looked like it would based on the map. Sometimes it was an hour each way due to traffic and slow speed limits. It cost about $10 each way for a car, but the bigger issue was the time and planning required. Also, there was government-required beach construction right outside the hotel. They notified us before we arrived, and people were still using the beach. We sat in the chairs and enjoyed the view, but at certain times there were large machines making noise just a short way down the beach. The hotel offered a shuttle or bikes to a different beach. We didn't find it too disruptive, but it was happening. One other thing--we picked this hotel over another nearby because it had a workout room, but be advised the air conditioner in that room was not working well and it was basically too hot to use.

The hotel room was tired and needed maintenance Generally, things tv, toilet, chairs etc not working properly. The grounds needed improving. The beach unfortunately is also under repairs currently so stay away until beach repaired in 12 mths.

Here's a review for Sol An Bang Beach that captures all your points: --- **Review for Sol An Bang Beach, Hanoi** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sol An Bang Beach, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The **massage at the day spa** was an absolute highlight—truly a next-level relaxing treatment. The decor of the spa was beautifully designed, creating a serene atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience. The food offered was top-notch; every meal was delicious, with a fantastic variety that catered to all tastes. It's rare to find such high-quality dining options in a beach setting. The location is perfect in a very restful part of An Bang Beach. For those seeking tranquility, with a beautiful, clean beach that feels private and unspoiled. Our suite, overlooking the ocean, was adorned with natural gardens, showcasing designer-quality interiors that made our stay feel extra special. The staff were wonderfully kind and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed and truly added to the overall ambiance. Additionally, the lovely appointed 3 x seperate swimming pools provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Overall, Sol An Bang Beach is a gem that combines luxury, relaxation, and top-tier service in a stunning location. I can't recommend it highly enough! While the complimentary pushbikes were a nice touch, they could use an upgrade for a more enjoyable ride.

We had wonderful stay. The location is right on the beach, which makes it perfect for relaxing mornings and sunset walks. The rooms are beautifully designed, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and fresh options each morning. It is also just a short drive to Hoi An using Grab or scooter.

Right on the An Bang beach. And great location if you want to stay from crowd. Very cheery staff and helpful, specially Mai and Loi Nhan. They were really helpful and informative. Nothing
-
Only the staff and the watermelon juice they gave me Trash everywhere on the grounds, breakfast was not good milk to pour on my coffee was cold, bikes are really old and rusty, room was not properly cleaned, the floors looked dirty, I found crumbs of food on the small table when I walk in. Location is not great far away from everything

The beaches, the bed, the staff The loud chanting and “music” from the funeral of the home nearby. The annoying construction noice from a neighbor.

View from balcony. Bathroom needed more of a clean. Fridge did not get to cold temperature. Breakfast was average. Very limited restaurants to visit. Walking in daylight to the tourist area was great along the beach (10 min walk) but coming home after dark you needed to book a taxi. If you walked home after dark you have to walk along a major very busy road which was for locals, not tourists.
-
Proximity to the beach and a large room. Staff were very friendly if not fantastically trained. We also liked being close to local bars and restaurants. Having a beach bar that wasn't staffed at sunset (the evening we tried it) is a wasted opportunity, we would have stayed in the bar longer had there been service.
-
The pool and close to beach.

Top recommendations for tours and local restaurants and places to visit. The cooking class they recommend is really great. When we checked into our room, it was not very clean. We did mention it right away and then they immediately sent someone to deep clean the room. An information about the connecting doors in the room would be nice upfront. The outside air-conditioning modules did make a lot of noise during the night.

The cocktails were not quite up to scratch compared to the rest of the experience. The beach has also suffered some erosion, which took away slightly from the overall beachfront feel, although this was clearly not the fault of the property.

Breakfast fantastic, room fabulous, beach out of this world. The premises were like a forest, a garden, a perched up area along the sea, beach chairs at the sea if you wanted to be closer to the sea. Beach towels were great. 3 pools all very clean and just the right temperature with umbrellas for shade. I just loved this place. All of it. Staff were out of this world. Fitness area was really nice. There just wasn't enough time in the day to enjoy it all. Very peaceful, quiet and I felt safe staying there alone. I can't say enough about the tremendous breakfast and their very generous times to suit everyone's wake up time. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. I loved it all. Would highly recommend it. Nothing, I loved it all. If I went back to Hoi An, I would only stay here. I tried 5 different places, went back here twice and it was the best overall. The location is quiet and cozy compared to the other side of the main beach. It felt safe and the staff could not do enough for you. They are an absolute stellar operation. Highly recommend. They have free bicycles as well and lots of places to eat and get massages nearby and mini marts for your everyday needs.

On the beach but with a beautiful forest to look at. Breakfast AMAZING. What more could you want. The room was great. We had a garden patio which we loved for easy access to beach, street and reception area. Also great workout room. Just wished I could have used it more. They also provided a mosquito net for the bed and a mosquito racket for the room. Excellent. I have already booked for next week again. Free bicycles. I would have liked some tea bags in the room. Maybe I could have asked for some.

Nice location on the beach. Room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast a good variety of food available both western and Vietnamese. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant.
-
We loved the location. Unfortunately, there was very loud music playing and the beach was littered with trash. Loud music and the dirty beach.
-
Very good location, beautiful beach, and very comfortable! Love the bar and the lounge area by the beach. The beach is not packed with people like the hotels down the road. THE STAFF ARE THE BEST!!!

It’s a beautiful property. Well manicured grounds, clean pools, etc. The restaurant is well above average. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly. Above all, the restaurant staff were superb. The security guards and grounds keepers were friendly and helpful. housekeeping was friendly but made so much noise with slamming doors. They flip the security bar latch that’s normally used to secure the door from the inside to keep the door from closing. As the crew would go in and out the door would slam against it…. It’s loud! The security latch on my door was loose…. From the constant slamming of the door against it, I can only assume. ? I kindly ask them to stop it. I didn’t even call front desk/management thinking all would be good. For about two hours everything was good. Then it started up again. This time I got angry with the housekeeping crew. I let the know again… I called management this time. Noise stopped, they apologized. One other thing… they have special deals, example; if you stay three nights you’ll receive a combo something with one free drink. When I asked about it they acted as if I was confused, started gaslighting me, the usual. Luckily I took a screenshot of the “Special Deal”. All of a sudden I was right and they understood. I won’t say the front desk staff lied to my face… more like just a slight dishonesty. This didn’t bother me too much, it’s Vietnam, thick skin is needed, so I’m used to it… mind you this isn’t the only minor incident, like this, at this hotel. The disingenuous attitude from the front desk kept me on my toes, I thought I could just completely relax…. Nope! Would I book here again? Maybe, just so I could wake up to an excellent breakfast, in spite of the slight dishonesty at the front desk.
