You have a lot of work ahead of you as chain hostel. Unfriendly patrons and staff. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Seems like everyone is tired of seeing each other. Breakfast included? It doesn’t include one cup of coffee. I don’t know if you people are used to patrons just bumming around in the mornings, but you sure as hell couldn’t wait to get me out of there during the breakfast hour when nobody was even present. Seriously! I understand how difficult some of these kids can be staying at your hostel, but as a staff, you people really need to work on your patience and attitudes towards them. I felt really disrespected as a paying customer. Happy new year!Yeah right?!

I stay at female bed dorm. The room clean and good. The ambience is nice, got some space outside the room for sitting. The hostel offer tour and many activities we can join. The bed wasnt comfortable because the foam is getting thin it made me woke up a bit aching. The bathroom mix gender. It would be more comfortable if they separate it .

It’s the little things that make it feel like the owner is trying to squeeze more of your money out of you, like how they add a surcharge on each expense so the total isn’t the actual total from the menu. Or if you go out for food and have leftovers, you aren’t allowed to bring it inside. Drinks seem watered down, but that’s everywhere it seems.

It was an amazing experience staying at Mad Monkey hostel. Right from people, food and crazy pub crawls. All 10 on 10.

The pub crawl and the crowd were great. Great staff. Rooms were clean and comfy. Location was far from Ancient town. There was nothing close nearby.

Amazing pool and all the green scenery in the surroundings. It’s cool that they organize something every night and that music shuts down at 22 for people who want to sleep. Overall is great to sleep here for a couple of nights, especially if you want to have parties and care less about sleeping. There is little control over the respect of silence time( e.g. after the pub crawl). Some people (not everyone luckily) from the staff are not very attentive and polite (this is referred to when people make orders at the pool bar). Also, I understand that in Vietnam English is not so spread but hoi an is pretty touristic, so I expect the staff to be able to have a basic conversation if I ask a question.
