Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort

Nice property with plenty of food options around. Need to update TV programming. No Smart TV with Netflix ect. Also need to enforce 30 min rule at pool. Tons of chairs with towels on them, but no one were ever in them. Was unable to find a chair at the pool with the water slide.

Complained several times about a cold shower and nothing was done. The first 2 times i was told someone would “take a look” and nothing happened. Also room was cleaned late in the afternoon both days of my stay. Everything else, restaurants, food, pool, pool and beach amenities were very nice and very acceptable.

Not a huge deal, but we also noted that the young man who took our order at the coffee shop inside the hotel was on his phone texting everytime we tried to order. Finally, we had to ask him to stop and check us out, as us standing there waiting for him silently, was not doing the trick. The other issue that we had was the vending machines on our floor was not refrigerated, so the soda was hot, not warm, but hot. Those rooms are not ventilated so the items were as hot as something sitting in a hot car. To make it worse, our sodas were both expired! Finally, and probably the most disgusting, was a used tampon on the floor of the ice and water vending station room. We told the front desk about this but noted that each time we went back to the water station over the next two days, it was still there. Lastly, the smell of Marijuana that crept into our room from our neighbors was at times nauseating. I realize its vacation for all but that is not enjoyable for everyone!

Clean, fun, great location with an entrance to the beach and plenty of pools

Cada vez q vas a comprar si no dejas tips los trabajadores te miran mal no me gusto para nada eso te hace sentir mal y es q no siempre se puede ya q algunos vamos con nuestros ahorros a disfrutar de la estancia por lo otro muy limpio y moderna la habitación.

Hotel is nice. But if you have kids, do your research before you go. The entire reason I booked this hotel was for the surf simulator (Flo-rider) and the beach access & neither were functional. My very active kids were super disappointed to see the surf simulator was shut down for maintenance, (apparently it will be for many months) and the seaweed on the beach is awful! Water is murky & brown. I know there’s nothing the hotel can do to get rid of it, but I just wish I would’ve done more research before choosing this hotel. They should post a notice on their website that the surf simulator is broken. The beach is NOTHING like what the pictures show. If I would’ve known both amenities we were looking the most forward to were unavailable, and all we would have is a pool, I would’ve saved myself the travel expenses to fly to FL & stayed in the margaritaville 30 miles from our house in KS.

Great resort, entertainment and food

Housekeeping was wonderful

Unfortunately, the FlowRider is not operating, and the beach conditions were so unpleasant that we actually had to leave the hotel, get back in the car, and drive to another beach. The whole reason I paid over $600 for the hotel was to be able to park the car and enjoy everything in one place without having to drive elsewhere. I completely understand that the hotel cannot control the condition of the ocean, but the FlowRider is one of the main amenities that influenced my decision to book here.

Only thing I would change is the music. This is a Jimmy Buffet hotel, the least they should do is play 1 Jimmy Buffet song once an hour. I was hoping to chill with some boat cruising music ( Jimmy Buffet, Kenney Chesney, Bob Marly) but is was mostly modern rubbish.

Rooms are nice, but didn't like the bathroom set-up. Staff was nice and helpful, except for housekeeping staff. Very nice resort but very expensive for what it is.

I love this place. I got married 3 years ago and had the BEST WEDDING PLANNER MICHELLE CANNICI! Thank you Michelle for continuing to be a class act with us and all the dedicated services. Eion and Sergio AMAZING bell attendants and loved their services were phenomenal . TIM the bartender on the 11th floor PHENOMENAL AND AWESOME SERVICES AND SUCH A GREAT ASSET to this hotel ! Elizabeth and Manny great servers and made our experience incredible ! EVERYONE- all the staff were amazing! Loved everything
