iclub Wan Chai Hotel

Very close to the MRT. It’s central, but still quiet at night. The room was very clean. We were able to get early check in too. Thank you to Idol and Niki for your friendly service and help!

Most of all the staff that served me—especially Wendy, Colby and their manager, Alex, epitomized what great service is all about. Wendy and Colby. were so kind, they made me feel like I was in a five star hotel. Alex helped to meet a troubleshoot a prior terrible reservation screw up by Agoda. All the staff, including the cleaning ladies were phenomenal! The first time I stayed this last month, I booked through Agoda, which I honestly have to say I’m never gonna do it again. Agoda signed me up for four separate rooms on the wrong days and drew nearly HK$20,000 from my account. This is nothing to do with iclub Wan chai and everything to do with that lousy excuse for a booking agency, Agoda.

First the location and accessibility to HKTDC, Bus and MTR station. Secondly the hotel provides complimentary breakfast at a cozy lounge. Third it iş important that hotel staffs speaks English well. There is no Bidet and sockets still require adopters.

Location: excellent (walkable to bus, MTR, Ding Ding), many delicious local restaurants and food houses. Room: enough large for 2 pax, equipedm clean Breakfast: just have a lounge with coffee, tea and bread, quite simple and convenience for a quick breakfast The bed mattress is not comfort (quite thin to support for the body. Hotel doesn't have common WC, even in the coffee lounge.

One of the positives of this hotel is the convenience of the surrounding area. There are many restaurants and food options open until late right downstairs, which made it easy to find meals at any time. The hotel is also very close to the Peak Tram and the Michelin-starred Kam’s Roast Goose, which was a highlight of the stay. Housekeeping did replace the towels during my stay, which was appreciated. The hotel itself feels quite dated, and this was noticeable in the room. Housekeeping was mediocre, as the duvet was simply placed on the bed rather than being properly made, which felt careless. The reception area was often busy and somewhat messy, and the check-in experience wasn’t very welcoming, as the reception staff did not come across as particularly friendly. In terms of location, while convenient for a few nearby spots, the hotel is quite far from many of Hong Kong’s main attractions such as Disneyland, Nathan Road, the Big Buddha, and Temple Street Night Market, requiring significant travel time.

This iclub hotel is really a service apt building with a microwave oven and a large room. The location is near the Wanchai mrt and is quite affordable. Unusual for Hongkong, they provide free continental breakfast. The room has an unusual, long u-shaped corridor.

For its price, this hotel is excellent, with a great location. However, there was a slight smell of cigarettes in the room. I asked to be moved, and they gave me another room — there was still a cigarette smell, but it was less strong, so I stayed.

Poor breakfast as gratis is nice suprise. Coffee, juice beverage, toast, sweet buns, jam, butter. As a gratis start of day - SUPER, especially in Hong Kong Clean place.
