It was packed while we were there. Three weddings! I think that made the Saturday pool experience a little subpar (hard to find a chair and they stopped serving food for a while) and an attention to detail a little lacking at times (hair in the shower drain when we arrived, water stations not refilled, public bathrooms needing to be cleaned and restocked toward the end of the day and our room keys turned off even though we paid for a late checkout). All that to say it seemed like they were stretched thin on staff, but the actual staff could not have been nicer! These minor things did not overshadow the beauty of the resort or the great time we had - you just expect a lot when you pay almost $1000 a night!

Mountain views, beautiful landscaping, breakfast buffet, history tour was excellent by Andre. Cascades hike was great, great guide Brian. We did it last year as well. Enjoyed the puzzles.

The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Our family had a great time enjoying the resort and all the amenities. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for a weekend getaway. We especially loved the beautiful surroundings and the overall experience. It was a memorable weekend, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful property. We had a lovely time enjoying the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. We checked in quickly, but experienced a few disappointments. The valet was quick to assist and the check-in desk went smoothly. Our room, unfortunately, was not up to par. There was hair on the sheets, toilet, floor, tub, and the tub drain was full of hair. There was popcorn on the carpet, the smoke detector was barely hanging from the ceiling by 1 screw, and there was a window ac unit installed which caused the blinds to be removed leaving no shade on the window. I called the front desk and waited about 5 minutes on the phone to be told I would be met by someone and assisted to another room. We waited 20 minutes and had to call down again for someone. It was after 10pm at this point and we were very tired. The next room was better but there was hair on the toilet, floor, and tub. I expected it would be perfect after voicing complaints from the first room. We decided to unpack and get to sleep as we figured a 3rd room would probably be more of the same. Besides the room issue, everything else was near perfection. We really enjoyed the food, amenities, & exploring the property. Wish the zip line was open. The guided Gorge Hike was absolutely beautiful, worth the money, and the guide was an absolute wealth of knowledge and such a delight. All of the staff were courteous, attentive, and friendly. I highly suggest a visit to this gem. We would love to visit again some day.

Wonderful resort with amenities for everyone. It clearly is a unique place.

The resort is nice and in a beautiful area. It was jammed with children. The only place in the entire resort we could find that was an adults only area is the pool near the spa which requires a $75 day pass to use. The resort also has a program to opt out of housekeeping and they will donate food to feed a family of four in the local area. Great program and we opted out. Their instructions said to text if you needed additional items such as fresh towels or coffee. We tried to get fresh towels and coffee twice. No towels. No coffee. Disappointing.

Con’s. Noise from the AC kept us up all night. Cranking sounds. Additional fees…

During our three-night stay, even though we didn’t opt out for the housekeeping, our room was not house kept for two nights. We ended up running out of basic toiletries like shampoo. In our last day of stay, a thunderstorm caused outage from 4PM to 9PM. I thanked the crew to make an open picnic as the dinner option. But it was a horrible experience and the resort didn’t even try to address it when I checked out. This is an over priced and arrogant place.

Excellent ambience, extremely helpful and courteous staff, lots of amenities. Travelled with family (including 2 kids) and we all loved the pools. The resort sits between mountains and the view is beautiful! Must visit especially if traveling with young kids.

We also loved the historic charm of the property and the beautiful surroundings. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, but it’s also a great place to simply slow down and relax. Overall, we had a great family getaway!

Wonderful day with a beautiful well maintained property. I wish they had at least one more restaurant but other than that wonderful stay.

Simply beautiful place Very disorganized. Screwed up both golf tee times and one dinner reservation. Other guest had numerous complaints about dining and event services

Dining options are not as plentiful nor is the menu as robust as one would hope; this is further complicated by the very limited dining options off site as this location is very remote. If you are planning a stay, you should be sure that there is enough diversity in things to do and eat on site. While the staff is very polite, you will find them very scripted. Sincerity is void. Midwesterners will particularly notice this difference. Stairs are plentiful and elevator service does not offer full coverage to every floor and every room with. Strong consideration should be given to using a service for your luggage to get to and from your room. While I believe southern charm may be a goal, they fall short in the areas of hospitality, sincerity and outward friendliness. We found the property and rooms to be clean.
