Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston East - Beltway 8 by IHG

Breakfast was good but the pancake machine didn’t work. Parking was good. The room i booked and paid for wasn’t available so i had to settle for one bed instead of two. The room was clean and the air was running well. None of the ice machines were working.

Clean and comfortable First night front desk lady was helpful. Sunday morning front desk was threatening 12 year olds to call the police on them instead of locating a parent.

The staff were very friendly! The room was roomy but we found some items that showed the room hadn’t been cleaned very thoroughly. Wasn’t a big fan of the it cleaning the room daily. Breakfast options were tasty.

But the pancake machine was Inop That should have been listed on their web site.Free is only good, if what you like is avaliable.

Pros: Good location close to stores and groceries and quiet neighborhoods that you feel save. Generous Breakfast buffet Clean installation Gym well equipped available 24 hours Free laundry room available 24 hours Personnel available and willing to help Cons: Housekeeper told us they didn’t clean room until check out, but after we insist they did it. For me is negative due to I have never asked for cleaning my room in other hotels. Pool was out of service ( they should indicate current status at booking pages) Over all is a good hotel and I recommend it.

The Location was great, lots of restaurants to choose between. The breakfast trays were not refilled . I went down at 8:00am and everything was gone. I’m waiting for the kitchen staff to refill the empty trays and they are looking at me like I’m crazy. We had to leave the hotel to go get something to eat. The pool was out of order the water was dark green.

Staff was fine, not super. Everything seemed out of order (ice machine, elevator, computer, pool, etc.) And toilet seat was broken in the room.

The Pool was out of service. The TV remote in my room did not work. After trying 3 remotes, I was given a different room. Toilet seat was loose in the new room and the chain for the window shade broke. However I would stay here again. Good location, really awesome, evening front desk guy. Clean. Good Parking. Nice surroundings, right down the street from Applebee's. Steakhouse at the adjacent parking lot. Right off the Hwy, easy access. $30 cheaper than the Hampton Suites down the road. Didn't use other amenities nor try the breakfast.

The staff was great. Dejuan was very professional and got me checked in without any issues. Room was nice and spacious, parking was easy and property is located in a great area
