Scottish Inns Westcott Street

My wife and I refer to this a the Adequate hotel. Its has exactly the bare minimum that a motel can offer while providing a clean, and safe room w/ an excellent location for what we like to do. Hard to beat the price. Look I get they have some logistically hard choices to make but, we arrived to the room around 2:30pm in August, the AC clearly hadn't been on for a good while. It was reading at 96 degrees, and took 3-4 hours for that room to be livable. It would be nice if there was some ability to know which room we were going to get and then they turn on the ac prior to arrival. If it was later at night, i don't know how we would have slept.

Everything was great. Check in is easy, parking is easy, the location makes it terrific to travel, service excellent, rooms are decent . Everything was absolutely great.

Cost It was 98 degrees outside that day. I got to my room and the air conditioning was not on. The room temperature was 80 degrees and the air conditioner did not work well. It took 3 hours before the room was at a comfortable temperature.

Quiet

Slightly run down property but the rooms are very clean and functional. There is a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Good AC and wifi. Right next to Memorial Park. Walking distance to a few different food and coffee outlets. Nothing fancy but it had all I needed.

Small hotel located near Memorial Park, right off IH 10. Staff was very friendly and informative. Room was clean.

There are 2 bars in walking distance. Parking lot is good and safe.

Vending machine down. All else pretty good for inexpensive room

Nice little motel was not a bad stay , you get what you pay for

i got a room for 2 adults and then got a call about no visitors when there were only 2 adults in the room, left due to horrible service
