Great host. Cyril couldn’t have done any more to make us feel welcome. We were welcomed with a cold drink (no charge) and fantastic rooms. Pool and garden were lovely. His son even booked the restaurant for us, which was fantastic. The breakfast was superb, as you’d expect from a guy that used to be a Parisian chef. Excellent selection of tea and coffee in the room. Great parking and an indoor secure area for bikes/motorbikes. (We were on motorbikes and very happy with the security). This is so close to a 10 for me, but not quite. I’ll definitely stay there again. Considering he’s only owned this place for a month, he’s doing brilliantly. Very small points but I thought I’d put them here so Cyril can get a 10 next time. Toilet roll ran out and no spare. Most people will expect shower gel and shampoo in the room and there wasn’t any. Garden needs a little bit more work to make it exceptional. Needs internet instructions in the room for easy access. Needs milk in the room for tea/coffee. These are not complaints, just tips to make an excellent hotel even better. ?

Great place to stay. Very charming hotel and friendly staff. We were travelling on our Lambrettas and despite looking rather ragged we were welcomed. A covered tucked away area was provided for our vintage scooters too. A very minor point but no shampoo provided.

Excellent location close to town centre. Lovely big garden. Friendly hosts. Good breakfasts. Lovely cat! Not much storage space

The breakfast was just ok but better on the second morning with the warm French toast. We would have liked to be asked if we wanted more coffee etc. which was only warm. Difficult when the pleasant lady couldn’t speak our !! A choice of pillows. More attention at breakfast.coffee facilities in room would have been appreciated.

We have stayed a couple of times before and will definitely return. The rooms are spotless and the owners are lovely people. The breakfast is very good.
