Nantasket Beach Resort

We enjoyed our stay. It’s right across the street from the beach with beautiful views and near a ton of restaurants with one of the nicest being right downstairs. The rooms were clean and showers were nice. You could definitely see some things needing updates in the hotel but they always had someone working on things so looked like they are keeping it up. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I loved being at this beach-facing hotel and its comforts. But we were disappointed to learn that the on-premise restaurant does not open for breakfast. They have a sad little breakfast room, at the back of the hotel, selling coffee and such. We fled for the street and found an okay place for good coffee but no food options other than muffins and coffee cake slices. We should have headed down the street to Dunkin’. We wish the Nantasket Resort Hotel would live up a little better to its name and have breakfast service, as they once did.

Clean Room

There was no breakfast, water in the lobby was not offered. There was small area with 4 tables if you wanted to order coffee and something small

Had to have room switched out 3 times originally had 350- then 353- finally ended up 351- 1st room had an army of flys in closet - attacked as soon as opened - 2nd room had endless hair - was told by front desk would receive discount for inconvenience

Convenient to the beach …building needs some upgrades.. pool area too hot and roof seemed needing repairs ..probably needs more staff

Nice place to spend a day or two. The AC is working only in the room, the bathroom remains hot, humid and poorly ventilated even with the forced ventilation on. Restaurant downstairs is very nice, coffee shop is good as well but having a choice metal silver wear to eat would help. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony is fantastic.

The Nantasket Beach Resort is an all-around and high-quality hotel. It is an excellent value and I enthusiastically recommend the hotel.

The location was beautiful, the room was basic but had a nice fireplace. The resort had some construction going on; specifically their coffee shop. We arrived at 11:00 pm after driving in the rain from Philadelphia for 7 hours and flying in from CA a few days before. Once we settled in and went to bed, we noticed that there was sand in the bottom sheet, I called the front desk and the maintenance guy picked up, (not sure why the front desk wasn't available). We explained the issue and he offered to bring new sheets. We waited 20 minutes and he brought us two fitted sheets for us to put on the bed. At this point, we were feeling exhausted but paranoid so we asked for pillow cases and blankets. We stripped the whole the bedding and changed to clean linen. The following day we left to Salem & we're gone all day. When checking out, I decided to let the front desk know of room concern and a young girl apologized, she didn't acknowledge that she had been aware. I don't blame the maintenance man, he tried to help but It was disappointing that the management team didn't reach out after I sent a requested review through their website. I booked this room based on the reviews (not the price$$$) and I understand that things happen but taking accountability is important. I'm hoping this was a one off so other guests don't have to deal with this.
