Homewood Suites by Hilton Huntsville - Downtown, AL

It's a great location downtown. It has very nice spacious rooms The wi-fi was terrible, could not get online most of the time I was there. Also was not impressed with the breakfast options. No non-dairy provided.

Central location, friendly and helpful staff clean and comfortable

Definitely NOT the usual Hilton standards I am used too. Various damages & beds were extremely hard. What took the cake was the fact that someone crapped in the pool and the night receptionist didn't have it cleaned. No note. Nothing!

Clean Expensive for a 3 star hotel. I want to extend my stay but the price is exorbitant.

I only stayed in my room 5 minutes before I checked out and requested a refund. THE SMELL WAS HORRIBLE in the hallway and in the rooms. I arrived on Thursday June 25, 2026 at 3:48. I reserved 2 rooms. After stepping off the elevator the smell was horrible. One room had a sticky floor and some type of stain. From the smell I determined it was pet urine. The second room smelled of dog feces. After making a complaint to the front desk both representatives displayed a horrible attitude to my wife, mother and daughter. Both stated it was nothing they could or would do about the odor, housekeeping only shows up every 2 days and they would not move us to other rooms. I was able to reserve elsewhere but disappointed I could not stay at my first choice. This was a huge inconvenience I know this place may not care about losing $1200.00 of my business but I will NEVER book here again.

Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful. ‘Downtown’ was a little misleading. It was very close but had to drive to downtown activities. Would definitely stay there again.

What was terrible: both suites I booked had issue with bathrooms. Both had dirty showers with hair on walls and floor. One of our rooms had shower that was leaking from everywhere possible so there was no pressure and water wouldn't drain. I called front desk and was told that maintenance people leave at 5PM so nothing can be done at that time. Not impressed.
