The staff is great. The rooms are old and greatly overpriced

Convenient access to the freeways. Grocery store nearby and restaurants. Old building. Carpet looked like it had not been replace since the building was built. The blanket on the bed was dirty and full of cigarette burn holes. Had to request twice for it to be replaced. The staff was pleasant enough. The side chairs were filthy. I would not even sit or put anything on them. The drapes were just as filthy. I wouldn't let my family stay here. The bottom of the door to the bath looked as though there may have been a flood in the room. I was on the ground floor. I wouldn't stay here again.

It's a nice place to stay. Bad customer service. It's just this one lady that will never give me my room. Barely will rent me a room. Very rude.

The staff is very pleasant and the property is in a nice quiet area. The room is as clean as it could be considering it's older and the carpet is worn. If you need a inexpensive place to stay, just bring your house shoes or slides. I felt safe while there.

A pair of underwear fell out of a towel

Good price and convenient location We asked for an "accessible" room. But instead, they gave us a room on the second floor (no elevator). Difficult for us (my husband had 2 knee replacements last year) to get to. We would have looked elsewhere but it was late and we were tired. Plus, Huntsville traffic is a nightmare.

Room was filthy! We couldnt bare the smell that was unmistakably cat urine and cigerettes. Cigerette burn holes covered the bed linens, pillows, carpet and every surface in the room. Outside of the room people (appearently not guest) were laid in hallways inside and out.We immediatly returned to counter and informed the girl who checked us in that the room was unacceptable. All she said was " Yeah I get it, go online where you booked it and get a refund". She never offered to get us a " clean room " which I am guessing that didnt exist in this hotel. The following day we were still charged for the Cat Urine room! No refund has been given since and no explaination what so ever. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE - YOU WILL ONLY BE PAYING FOR THEM TO KEEP THEIR LIGHTS ON FOR THE FOLKS IN HALLWAYS! BEWARE!

The room was extremely dirty, and there was no hot water. For the cost legit just stay anywhere else.

Was extremely disappointed after seeing good reviews, because it was pretty bad. Very run down and broken. Felt unsafe. Broken furniture, toilet tank was broken and barely flushed, doors were rotting at the bottom, and front door barely had any locks, and it was obvious they had shadey people living and hanging around outside. Will definitely not wver stay there again. The only good points of this hotel is that wven though it was run down and broken, the room seemed as clean as tgey could get it, and the gal at the front door was pleasant, but definitely not a place to stay unless you are quite comfortable with rhose type of surroundings.

Great staff. Rooms always clean. Comfy beds! Very quiet

The bed was uncomfortable. There was no hotel lock on the door so we felt a bit unsafe. It smelled weird. It was just kinda run down and old.

My stay there was Excellent ! I was comfortable an felt at home. N/A

Wasn't the best place to stay, outside had people doing drugs. Wasn't the safest place to stay even though the lady at front desk was nice. Just didn't feel comfortable staying there even though I checked in. I ended up leaving and staying at a different hotel with friends who had room at the embassy

Nice staff and room was clean.

Joyce, the cleaning woman who greeted me, made me feel so welcome and safe. Even better, this property gets a 5 star rating for cleanliness. Close to downtown.

Need to upgrade an updated the whole hotel
-
The staff was very friendly… the maintenance was awful the rooms haven’t been updated since the 70’s
-
Facilities are aged but surprisingly maintained. Beds are a bit still but sleepable. I actually would repeat if on a budget or a quick one night stay.
-
It was the safest room out of all my stays with this sight. Very safe and welcoming.
