Holiday Inn Express Washington DC - BW Parkway by IHG

Room was very clean. Hotel very clean. Property very clean. Staff very polite and helpful. Always love great customer service! For it to be in a busy area, it was quiet. Surrounded by plenty of food places, many needed stores as well as entertainment. My only tick was the elevator took too long. Loved the 24 hr coffee. If you’re working long hours or an early riser like myself, just a quick ride downstairs. Once the elevator finally arrives lol. All in all still a 10/10.

Superb

Pros: Wonderful staff, fast check in, very close to gas, food, grocery store, clean room and bathroom, bed is comfortable, well lit parking lot, hotel felt safe, quiet, hot breakfast - not over the top choices but the staff kept the areas clean and food was replenished quickly. Cons: Shower’s water pressure could have been better, fee for parking, non-working outlets on the bedside table/nightstand, limited outlets in the room, not enough towel hooks in the bathroom. That said, the cons would not prevent me from staying again.

The room was very clean and spacious for my family. The free breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone. The staff we interacted with were helpful and very nice.

This is a great value for a DC area stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast options at the buffet. Highly recommended!

The conveniently while our apartment was being renovated was perfect. The slow elevators. Bathroom was properly cleaned. The washcloth was black after my daughter did a quick wipe of the before bathing my grandson. Dirt was even on light button in the bathroom to turn the light on. Visible see dirt in the bathroom sink.

My family really enjoyed our stay here and we would come back. Everyone was really kind and helpful, the hotel including our room was clean, the breakfast had a nice selection and it was perfect for us and parking was easy. The lot was full on Saturday night and we were able to get the last available space — not sure if there’s another space to park once the lot is full but we were good. Also, it was super convenient to have Walmart and several places to eat right next door to the hotel and across the street.

I liked the pancakes section, the fruit, juice and yogurt options. I do not eat eggs so I cannot comment on that. The breakfast overall was a good selection for a short stay. I could not control the AC in my room and the AC in the gym did not work very well.

Pros: Excellent, friendly, and helpful staff. Great location with easy access into DC. Close to fast food and Walmart for quick convenience. Free breakfast included (a bit limited, but fine for a quick bite). Cons: Hidden mandatory fee: They charge a $5 per night parking fee even if you don't bring a car, despite advertising "parking included." The daily fee policy feels misleading if you aren't parking.
