The property is beautiful with easy access to the trail and a good view from the balcony of the room and the terrace by the pool. Spacious room and bathroom. We had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant in the morning. Easy to get transport to and from. They did help with setting up transport from airport to the hotel. I mistakenly thought the dipping pool outside the room was a hot tub, but it is actually not warmed, so we ended up not using it since it was chilly when we were there. We were there in the off season and it seemed like the property was not exactly ready to host guests during this time. The restaurant and pool being closed were anticipated, so not surprising there. There was construction throughout the property, namely, right in front of our room for several hours throughout both days of our stay. The floor in our room and patio had a light film of dust when we arrived. The tablet that supposedly had information for our stay was not really updated for the off season (hours were not accurate, mealtimes not accurate, etc). They did send a questionnaire ahead of time asking for preferences, but the questionnaire was also not updated for the off season (regarding restaurant reservations). It also would have been useful to get a list of restaurants or take aways that were open in the area during off season (we ended up getting this from another host that we stayed with during this trip). Ahead of time we did not anticipate getting a spa treatment, but some of our plans were flexible and we were able to change it, so we booked massages online, but we were not aware that because of the off season we actually needed to talk to someone about this and not just book online, so we did not get our massages. Because of the off season, we knew to be flexible with plans and expectations, but in my opinion they could have been better equipped to host or set expectations ahead of time during this timeframe since the booking was listed. All of this being said, it would not necessarily deter me from returning to the property during the season to experience the pool, restaurant, spa and views to experience it when they are fully functional.

Property was well located on the cliff with a nice sunset view.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were not clean enough. There were a lot of ants on the bed sheets.Breakfast was bad. There was no any kind of meat and sausages in the menu.No vegetables at all!!!No mineral water, staff provided a tap water, which had a strange smell and taste.

Our stay was truly exceptional. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the facilities were outstanding - especially the beautiful & peaceful rock-pool which added a unique charm to the experience. The staff was incredible and always willing to help, making us feel welcomed at every moment. A special mention goes to Nikos, who from the very first moment offered us the best possible service. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine willingness to assist made our stay even more memorable. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning in the future! .

The staff is incredible and made our stay very comfortable. They were able to arrange for a rental car for us even when requested on a very short notice later at night. The breakfast was phenomenal, we looked forward to our breakfasts everyday. We stayed in Suite 31 and room 5 and both rooms were very clean, spacious and the views from the property are amazing. I would have loved to have some more vegetarian options on the lunch/dinner menu. Although the options they do have currently tasted really good, it would have been nice to have some more variety.

We loved our stay after being given a better room than we were originally given. The location of the hotel on the magnificent Caldera in Imerovigli was perfect. Room was spacious and breakfast was wonderful. We had dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel but found much better restaurants outside of the complex. The staff particularly Nicolas on the front desk were very helpful. We were leaving very early and they had prepared a breakfast box for us. Efcharisto to all the crew at Rocabella. We had to leave.

The view is incredible (from my room, the restaurant and the pool area). The staff (front of house, restaurant and bar) were welcoming, courteous and friendly. The bed was super comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The inclusive breakfast was varied, tasted good, and was well worth the money. The plunge pool on the balcony was a nice touch and was serviced regularly. The location was fantastic for touring the island (hire a car - taxis are a rip off) and within easy reach by foot (20 minutes) of Imerovigli - but it's not lit at night, is steep and you'll need a torch. This didn't phase me. The service yard behind my room (which greeted me every time I left my room) was a complete eyesore and not becoming of a 4* hotel with this nightly rate. It needs sorting out. The restaurant is overpriced. You can better food, more reasonably elsewhere. The gym is NOT a 'state-of-the-art fitness center - it is cramped with a couple of running and rowing machines with a yoga weight stand. The floor is grim. Make sure you get the room advertised - as I didn't. Thankfully, they upgraded me on arrival and I was very happy. This is a popular wedding venue hotel, so expect noise until midnight. This wasn't an issue for me. Overall, it's a great hotel in a jaw-dropping location. However, there are several areas around the hotel are tatty and need attention (for instance, no locks on public toilet doors, the gym flooring, the service yard, water features not working, worn balcony furniture, and paint peeling off walls, to name but a few) Thankfully I got a last-minute deal and didn't pay full price. If I had, I would have been disappointed. However, for the price I paid - and the view/location, I was very happy here.

Our room was amazing and had a view that looked like a dream. The staff was super considerate and did their best to make our stay perfect. They provided us clean towels and let us use the hotel facilities after checkout due to our flight being later in the day. We also got a 30 min courtesy massage for couples which was a really nice touch.
