This was our first trip to Santorini and, as our family's trip planner, I spent hours and hours and HOURS pouring over reviews of where to stay. And believe me, now that we've been to Stella Rocca, I can't imagine anyplace could possibly be better. Imerovigli was the best place to base ourselves to be able to hike to Oia or walk to Fira. And Stella Rocca is positioned perfectly on the path, but also within easy walking distance of small grocery stores and amazing local dining. We were a big group (5 separate rooms) and everyone's room was lovely, the views were incredible, the jacuzzi tubs gorgeously positioned, the beds and showers luxurious. We really appreciated the rooms' blackout curtains/shutters, everyone slept wonderfully well. We ate breakfast every morning on the poolside terrace with its breathtaking views and the food--everything from eggs to waffles to yogurt and pastries-- was delicious. But by far my highest praise is for the staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every need was attended to, every person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. I'm so grateful that we chose Stella Rocca and if we ever come back to Santorini, we will certainly stay here again. The jacuzzi tubs didn't get extra-hot, more warm, but we were perfectly comfortable and enjoyed them every evening. It's not at all a concern, just be aware!

I like staying in the area of Imerovigli because it was far enough away from the business of the cruise port housekeeping was great and even organized our clothing and things for us because there’s a lack of drawers in the rooms. The breakfast was great our room was very private. There’s a ton of stairs but that is the same as any resort in Santorini. The hotel staff carried the bags and were wonderful. We had a great room, the executive honeymoon suite so had privacy but many of the rooms did not… definitely know where the room/hot tub is if that’s important to you. The food at the restaurant was very good but the lunch/dinner is very limited. There’s no shortage of close places to eat though. Housekeeping was great but not sure why some days we got then down/towel service and others we didn’t. There were coffee pods and tea and such in the room but there was a charge for them I think like 4-5 euros which seems ridiculous when spending 600-700 euros a night. There are stores close by you can buy a box which is what we did. The pool was smaller than I thought… and it was deep! Over my fiancés head and he’s 6 foot tall but great if you like to do laps etc. It was cold water so we didn’t go in anyway for more than a minute. The view at this hotel is amazing however depending on the month/time of year you may or may not be able to see the sunset. We could not however we went to restaurants and did a sail cruise to see it. Fira is only a mile away but takes about 25-30 min to walk. It is downhill going but it is all uphill coming home. Oia is about 2 hours to walk but there is a bus stop close by.

Shower was barely lukewarm and the “hot” tub on the balcony was not hot.

Loved how relaxing our stay was. Couldn’t have asked for more or better

Absolutely loved my stay here ?? The hotel was beautiful, the views were unreal, and everything made my Santorini birthday solo trip feel so special. But the biggest highlight was definitely the staff — everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I never felt alone there. A special thank you to Aris, Kostos, Ludmila, and the whole team for making me feel so comfortable and taken care of during my stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience — I truly hope to come back again someday ?✨

Good nice location. Very nice view from the room and restaurant. Kind helpful staff. Amazing breakfast! A lot of delicious options. At first we got a room No. 11 (cave room) which had not much windows or view and the jacuzzi is across the public pathway. Upon request hotel admin Arish offered us other room which gave us more privacy and a wonderful view (especially interesting was seeing the cruise ships anchored in the water hundreds of feet below). We were staying middle of April, the weather was still cold (17 Celsius and cloudy), the room is not heated so it was a bit chilly but the hotel staff offered extra blankets for us. The water in jacuzzi was not hot, but warm, but this is to be expected as the water seems to be heated by solar. Public parking was readily available just 2 minutes walk from the hotel (in April there is not so many cars so finding free parking was easy). Overall we felt very satisfied with our room and with the breakfast and the hotel staff was polite and attentive.

We can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. The hotel room, our private outdoor space with the warm tub and the restaurant were all so beautiful curated in their design, exceptionally clean and provided exceptional views. The breakfast was lovely and had a ton of options! The staff was all courteous and went out of their way to help you. We had such a positive experience with the hotel manager Aris, who provided recommendations, booked cars for us and extended our check out with prompt and positive service. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Looking around other places in Santorini we cannot imagine a better location or hotel stay. Being here in the off season (April) the only thing to forewarn future guests is the outdoor tub is best suited for during the day as the water does not get too hot! Either way, we cannot wait to come back!

The room was clean, cute and cozy plus had a beautiful view. Our bathroom was a bit close to the bed and when showering the water would leak out and make the floor a little messy so we had to put a towel on the floor.

Everything was exelent! Service. Receptionists. View. Location. Room itself. And a little gift at check out ❤️ and the room i choosed had more privacy than other rooms. I was looking for that. Absolutely happy with all. Hard to say what I didnt like. If I would really push it. Maybe I would want to have better breakfast choices and check on water in shower overspending when taking shower not quick enough.

The location and views are great! 1. The office is hard to get a hold of. They have never answered the phone when I called from the moment I booked to the moment I attempted to check in. 2. BEWARE: This hotel double booked the room I selected and gave it away to another guest. They offered an “upgrade”, but the upgrade had a worse view and way worse pool despite the room being larger. Since I booked that room specifically for the pool I asked for a refund and they refused to provide a refund to me for my first night since “they would be taking a loss”. If the hotel notified me that they double booked the room in the 3 months prior to my trip, I could have canceled free of charge, BUT THEY WAITED UNTIL I GOT THERE and then told me my stay was ineligible for a refund. That is horrible customer service. They offered me a cocktail for the mistake. UNACCEPTABLE. The hotel should take full accountability for this. 3. Not following their policies: I had book a third night for a different room and therefore the booking was on a different confirmation. Since I wanted a refund for my first nights I could not stay my last night b/c my hotel was now located on the other side of town. Again, instead of taking accountability for the issues they caused they tried to tell me I could bi be refunded for my third night. According to their policy, I have up until 12am on the day of check in to get at least 50% refund. I canceled two days before when my other booking with them fell through, AND THEY REJECTED MY REFUND. Stay away. They are greedy.

The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was great size and the view from the room was awesome. The biggest disappointment about this property was the missed opportunity of not having a pool right at the edge of the cliff. Instead it was the restaurant area which has a great view but could have easily been above the pool. The pool also had no shallow end and was about 6.5 feet deep. The room also had quite about of weeds and shrubs that could have easily been cut to improve the view.

The cave like atmosphere was great, and it was on a high point of the island so I was able to have a good view of the surrounding towns. The included breakfast was absolutely fantastic and so delicious. All of the staff especially Stavruola are super nice and accommodating, we always felt so welcomed when we saw them. Stavruola always made sure we had everything we needed. I am also very appreciative of the luggage carry service at the end of our stay so we didn’t have to struggle on the stairs. Our private terrace was opposite our room separated by the public walk way so often times people would try to open the gate and go inside. The shower drained slowly.

It was very beautiful!! The staff was amazing. The only problem was parking. There should be better directions given as to where to park and how to get to the hotel. It was very confusing the first day. The property was gorgeous and the view was spectacular.

The location was spectacular. Amazing views of the caldera unmatched by any other location. Hot tub was perfect in the morning and sunset, and the breakfast was top restaurant quality! Would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Santorini. Fira and Oia are far too overrated compared to Imerovigli. The staff were accommodating, assisting with booking tours, transfers and so much more. They even assisted us with our bags to the main road which made it so easy for us. Nothing. It was all perfect.

    The view was amazing!

First of all i have to say a huge thank you to Stav (the hotel manager), who made me feel welcome and taken care of from the first second that I arrived at the hotel, helped me arrange my next stay on the island and was highly professional and very sweet! All the other staff were amazing as well! The hotel itself is very cute, my room was very cozy, the toiletries were high brans , the outdoor hot tub was very pleasant and the view was from the room was also very nice The only downside for me was that I couldn’t see the sunset from my room

Me and my husband stayed for our honeymoon in Stella Rocca A mare suite. We really really loved everything there. The staff were really kind, helpful and nice. They welcomed us with limonade and brought us to our room. I really loved the caldera view of our room. We had also a hot tub which had the caldera view. That was so calming and relaxing. The room service was good. They cleaned evrything in the room everyday and placed new clean towels and bedsheets. They even had a good laundry service for a very cheap price, which I loved. Next time I will definitely book this suite and room again. Maybe an idea to extend the food menu with more kind of foods. (As a muslim, I would really love if they had also halal meat).
