Absolutely gorgeous place! Very decent price for the 6 of us, you could accommodate a big family in a beautiful place, with parking, pool, breakfast included and WiFi at 10 min from Florence. The guy from front desk help us out to find a parking and walk through out the city. We had dinner there and it was really good! Service was okay !

Nothing but probably need car if going around town. Though you really won't want to leave in summer.

Great facilities and value. Wifi working reliably. A/c not super strong but working

Breakfast was good; Continental style, and was of good quality. I am only 6' tall, and my feet just extended beyond the bottom of the bed. A pretty minor issue, but might be important if you are 6' 4" and tend to sleep fairly straight. It will be nice when the swimming pool is completed.

Villa Castiglione is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting in the Tuscan countryside near Florence. The historic building has plenty of character, and the lack of crowds made the stay particularly relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay. Dinner was excellent, with very good food and a pleasant atmosphere that made every evening enjoyable. Some aspects of the property could be improved. The furniture and room furnishings felt quite dated and did not match the charm of the building. Breakfast was average and somewhat underwhelming; considering the location, we expected a little more variety and quality. The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool, which was unavailable during our stay due to a major renovation or rebuilding project. It would have been wonderful to relax by the pool and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings, but unfortunately that was not possible.

The breakfast was limited and the same food every day (only the sweet part alternated), no vegetables

Location was beautiful. Facilities were under renovation given that it was the off season but this was reflected in the price

Location! Beautiful Tuscany spot! Awesome beds! Great breakfast! It could use a mini fridge, softer lighting and a smoother entrance to reception with your luggage in tow.

Villa Castiglione was the most peaceful places to rest and enjoy an excellent dinner and breakfast Ive had during my travels. This is an amazing find that as they develop the old convent more and more I will be back to see how the property unfolds. And only 25 min drive down to Florence???

I loved everything. It’s fabulous. Staff is beyond kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, and plenty. I could not be happier with how beautiful and comfortable the place was. What I ate at their restaurant was also delicious. Nothing

- location - close to everything, but tucked away in amazing Tuscan hills - beautiful grounds - whimsical rooms, which are big, tastefully decorated and brights - very good breakfast - dog friendly hotel, so extra bonus ? I wish there would be a bit of veggies for breakfast choice

Historic location in a tranquil setting. The WiFi was not working in the room.

Very cool location. View is amazing. The staff is awesome!! Treat you like family. Cesar is the personality of the hotel and brings a light humor and great service. Will absolutely go back. Food was not the best. For the price, I expected more.

The location is great and very accessible! Close to the highway, but still keeps that secluded feeling. The villa itself is beautiful, the views are breathtaking, the food is beyond delicious, and the folks are very hospitable. We will definitely return to this place every time we are in the area! The shower is a bit small
