Incredible open air baths, great views. Food was good, service also amazing. They were very accommodating even with my limited Japanese. The location is in proximity to a lot of beautiful nature, but if you’re used to traveling in Japan by train, reaching things around Inawashiro is much more difficult. Ride share apps don’t work, and there is just the taxi company, although it was quite reliable. Probably best to stay on site or use a car.
