Atlantic Inn

The Atlantic Inn is the best place to stay on the A1A corridor near Melbourne. For less than $100 per night I had a large room ,king sized bed, good bathroom and hot shower (with good pressure), and privacy. And they don’t charge you to park your own car. And this is a “no frills” motel! I have had less before while staying at the Crown Plaza across the street! The beach access is easy and the restaurants are within 10-minutes walk. The manager was very pleasant and she makes great coffee at 7 AM in the lobby. Now, the rooms are not decorated, and the air conditioner works, but is loud. However, everything is clean and there was a medium sized fridge/freezer that worked great. I will be staying here again since it was so easy and the price is more than fair.

It’s a good price but it lacks even basic amenities. I won’t use it again for short stays. It’s a shame because it’s cute and has good potential for low budget longer stays close to a beach. The rooms are clean except for a little accumulated dirt in some corners. Bed was firm. pillows, linens and towels were clean. No soap, shampoo or hair dryer. Weak shower. Hot water took a while to show up and sometimes just returned to cold. Air conditioning worked well. No beach mildew smell. The kitchen looked functional ( I didn’t use it) but no ice trays and no ice machine. Coffee pot or the outlet didn’t work. Sort of surly front desk response. Not friendly. I might use it for long stays but I won’t be going back for quick overnights.

Nancy at check-in was great! Provided a a much needed 30-minute delayed checkout as well. Entire team was attentive throughout stay and very kind.

Absolutely amazing staff clean rooms great views comfortable beds cold refrigerator I mean nice neighbors they make sure that they don't fill the place up full of hoodlums it's right across the street from the beach it's a quarter mile from Walmart it's a great hotel for the price you cannot beat it Beachside.
