The Hotel Rappensburger staff seem very experienced and likely to understand the needs of their various guests. They were very communicative, helpful in reserving a parking spot in advance in their garage, and effective in addressing my questions. I very much enjoyed the on-site dining, and the self-serve breakfast was both excellent & modestly priced. The spot is ideal for exploring Ingolstadt, being located in the heart of the city. The corridor floors were a bit squeaky (flexing wood) making it a bit hard to enter/exit quietly, but this was completely minor.

The staff was very kind and helpful. There was a familial atmosphere that is becoming rare nowadays. The location of is amazing, right in the center of Ingolstadt. The room was nice, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the food in the hotel restaurant Il Castello. I can definitely recommend this lovely hotel. Everything was great!

The rooms were clean and modern, compact but adequate. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the Altstadt with many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent, with a mixture of cold cuts and a small choice of hot food. Parking (9 euro) was easy to access withing the hotel building. Nothing really.

There is available parking for 9 Euro per night. Breakfast is included which is just okay for the price. Our room is at the 3rd floor, the room inside i think is newly renovated but outside the window is still old. The bed is very uncomfortable, it says Boxspring bed, but it was too old, two different beds put together, one bed is lower than the other.. The TV is not working, want to call the reception through land line but also not working, so need to go downstairs, i ask the lady to come to the room to fix the TV and the telephone.

Hotel Rappensberger exceeded my expectations. It’s ideally located in the heart of Altstadt, making it very convenient. For me, the standout was the staff — absolutely 11/10 — they truly made the experience exceptional. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. I visit Ingolstadt once or twice a year, and from now on, this will be my go-to place to stay. I have nothing negative to say about my stay at Hotel Rappensberger.
