Hotel Vagabundo

We had one of our best stays at Villa Katarina! everything was great! The two best things about the hotel are the location and the host/staff. The host is a gem :) such a great guy! He was very generous with both check-in and check-out times, and also helped us find great beaches and restaurants nearby. Another big plus was the affordable transportation to different places that he arranged for us. The location is excellent, very close to a beautiful pebble beach, as well as to restaurants and bars. The hotel provides a parking spot and has a useful fridge and air conditioner which made warm nights much more comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice. There were hardly any downsides to our stay! Nothing significant to complain about.

The welcoming reception and the lovely breakfast and very convenient to visit Trogir. The lines and pillows were not good.

We were only spending one night in the area but it was perfectly placed not too far from Trogir which was well worth a visit whilst there was a good beach and a number of restaurants close to the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was good. We did not eat in the restaurant other than for breakfast because we were only in the area for one night so wanted to eat by the seafront for our evening meal although the selection of food and wine in the restaurant looked good. A very comfortable room and the price was very good and there was a place to park opposite the hotel which didn’t involve additional cost

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is very near the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony was really amazing. Good breakfast as well. There could be a water heater kettle provided in the room.

Reception was open full day, I received a lot of help : leaving luggage in hotel after check out. Other example: for my day tour at nearby National Park, I`ve been provided with an umbrella - much appreciated.

This is our second stay at Katarina,The place is well placed for the beach and the harbour were you can catch the taxi boat,There is plenty of places to eat within walking distance,After many years of travelling it is a pleasure to return here as the staff are excellant friendly and helpfull,Holidays are built on your stay this is why we came back,A big thank to all of you. This is not a dislike but the restaurant was not open which is a shame as we found the food very good and reasonable

Breakfast has all you can imagine. Beds were comfortable. Owner was friendly. Balconies are big. Good location. Rooms are small. Bathroom is too tight. To get to the toilet you have to squeeze behind the wash basin and rest your nose against it . Toilet was leaking water. Vent was loud and sounded broken. It’s not a bad place especially for the price but it would not be me spending my beach vacation there. That’s just me.

perfect view from the room, close to the beach, private parking and delicious breakfast a bit old and dasty furniture, need renovation, need mosquito protectors, AC doesnt work, thay could be more carefull for cleaning, theres no place for drying clothes at the balcony
