Hotel Madlein
About Hotel Madlein
This hotel on the sunniest spot in Ischgl is one of the most beautiful design hotels in the Alps and offers fantastic cuisine, excellent service and a wonderful spa area. The Hotel Madlein combines cool stone with minimalist Zen design and offers comfortable rooms in traditional style or completely modern rooms. There is also a penthouse apartment with 3 bedrooms and fantastic views over the valley. First-class wellness facilities await you in the spa area. The beauty spa offers facial treatments and massages. Guests can enjoy the fascinating view of the Tyrolean mountains from the swimming pool. There is also an outdoor Finnish log cabin sauna and an outdoor whirlpool surrounded by torches (only in winter). The infrared sauna gondolas in the garden are also unique in Ischgl. The heart of the hotel is the cocktail bar with an open fireplace. In the restaurant you can admire one of the largest aquariums in Tyrol.Breakfast is included in your stay. In the evening, our à la carte restaurant will treat you to exquisite dishes that you can choose yourself. We recommend pairing your meal with fine wines from our in-house wine cellar, which offers a wide selection of special vintages. The hotel's own bar and the cozy View Lounge are the perfect places to relax in the evenings. Cable cars and ski slopes are only 328 feet away and easily accessible by underground escalator. The cable cars take you to the Silvretta Arena ski area with 146 miles of slopes and guaranteed snow from the beginning of December to the beginning of May. Ski passes are available at reception. Ski and snowboard equipment can be hired at the hotel.

This rooms are very small almost no hot water in the shower .The heat in the rooms not always working . Almost no light .. When I arrived I was promissed I could use the spa facilities after check out ,but when I was checking out they told me that the policy has changed .this is my 3rd time there and I can clearly say that their service quality changed.

Great food - I’m a veggie and every meal was delicious (though only one option unlike meat eaters). The standout though was the staff. Everyone was delightful and upbeat and went out of their way to help eg housekeeping searching empty rooms to replenish our mint tea bags. The laundry lady who had loaded her trolly into the loft but came and backed it out so we could use it. The Maitre d’ who moved tables so we could sit side by side as we struggle with hearing in noising environments. They allowed smoking after 10pm in the TV lounge!

We got an unexpected upgrade to a room with the slopes view. The food was very good, especially the breakfast - it has a lot of variability, and the quality of the ingredients was really good. 5 course dinner was very good as well. We enjoyed the spa, especially the open air pool. The hotel is perfectly located for skiing - right at the entrance there is a tunnel to the lift. We wanted to book for next year, but there is no availability!

Although it’s a 4-star hotel, the atmosphere from the moment you arrive feels even better than in some 5-star hotels. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful—it truly feels like home. The spa is amazing, especially the outdoor one, which I absolutely love. We travel a lot, and this is one of the few hotels we return to—and we’ll definitely come back again. And it is so easy to get to the ski lift, there is escalator just outside which takes you the two ski lifts This was our second stay in the hotel, we wouldn’t come back if we didn’t like it :)

Breakfast was awesome, spa and dinners are excellent. The room was a little bit small, but the view was insane.

We liked everything, you go down the stairs and you are on the gondola... sauna, open hot pool, Turkish bath... excellent breakfast... all recommendations. We will be back next year. All is good.

location, breakfast, and bar waiters all supernice and you have a good general vibe waiters at breakfast. They have issues between them and one of them has an attitude. Otherwise all super nice. Also people have drinks at the exterior pool ok in the pool which i find outright a health risk since it all goes in the water.
