A beautiful room at a lodge where we could ski almost to the door, great breakfast, really friendly staff, lodge at end of town so it was quiet but just a couple of minutes from town center. Not a huge fan of a 10 AM checkout. I know rooms have to be turned but noon (as many hotels do these days) I think is more humane.

I spent 7 days in February 2026 at this wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and awesome. This place is very clean and very well kept up. The breakfast had great variety and was delicious. The hotel looks down on the town and was very quiet. I did ski in and out while there. I had no problem with driving up to the hotel or parking. I did have an all wheel drive vehicle. I would highly recommend Hotel Garni Waldschlössl.

Clean and cosy hotel, staff was very nice and polite. Good breakfast. Sauna area was cleaned and very well maintained. No tea or coffee machine in the room. No mini bar or fridge. Not even one bottle of water upon arrival. Room temperature a little cold for my taste and no extra blankets provided. Breakfast needs a bit of variety and more fresh pastries e.g. croissants. Overall, the hotel is ok if you don't mind basic comfort in a clean place. It lacks attention to detail on other things.

We liked it all, from the start. The owners are amazing, they love their job and you can feel and see that on every step of the way. Their kindness, cheerfullness and their attitude are amazing. The breakfast is great, the location is perfect, the rooms are just what we need, big enough with the most amazing view on the Icshgl.

The room was very nice, warm and cozy, with wonderful views to the mountains. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, the location was great, it had a room for skis and equipment, and you could ski from the mountains to the hotel through a way that led you directly from the ski slopes to the parking lot. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Its located uphill town and sometimes going back from the center of the town could be tiresome ?
