Macri is steps away from the port so it is very convenient. It is also extremely clean and comfortable so a very good value for short stays! Staff was so friendly and kind.

Clean, basic room and bathroom. Great to have some outside space too, with a lovely view. Fantastic location, which is super close to the port (3 minute walk off the ferry), bus terminal (also only 3 minutes away) and the main street with shops, bars and restaurants. You can take a 40 minute walk down that street all the way to the castle. I got the bus there and walked back. The receptionist was warm, friendly and really helpful. He did not speak much English (but better than my Italian!). We managed to communicate well enough and he showed me highlights of Ischia on a map. He also let me leave my luggage at the hotel after checking out and I collected it just before boarding the ferry. My bag was so heavy so it was great to be so close to the ferry port! There were no tea/coffee making facilities and there was no hairdryer in the room. I did see a hairdryer when I stored my luggage so you could ask for one! Also, the hotel is so close to bars and restaurants and a 24 hour snack/drinks vending machine place that it didn't really matter about not being able to make a drink in the room.
